Wife has been getting mail that she can convert her credit card over to theirs to save on interest.
They all said $80,xxx and she got nervous and checked her credit report (you can get for free from the major reporting companies.) . Nope no unknown credit cards, just picked a number and sent out from multiple "lender" names.

Can't imagine how they picked $80K, that would be a life changing credit card bill!

Settings>phone>silence unknown callers. This will do it on an iPhone. Works as advertised!

I thought maybe I was the only one getting Chinese speaking messages.

I don’t have Chinese speaking friends so it’s good to know what they wanted!

After the last scam call, I barked at the national Do Not Call people and told them that their list was in itself a scam...After that call I have not had any scammer calls.

We were getting messages that our SS about was hyjacked and we
owed money and they were using our SS nunmbers for buying all
kinds of stuff I just hung up the phone as SS will not call you by phone.

another one was I had won some lottery and I don't do lottery telling me that the FBI and Homeland Security would come to my door to
deliver the money but he need my info I kept him on the phone for almost 2 hours and finally I said I gotta go he says who is gonna pay
for this phone bill I said you called me I knew it was long distance is
why I kept him on the phone

Since you posted that I checked my iPhone and I guess I had done that and forgot about it. Beginning to think it was strange that I was getting a lot of calls that showed up as "Silenced Call From XXX-XXX-XXXX" number.
