The Kubota will use a LOT LESS oil than the hardley...20 years ago I bought my 1984 L275 for $6500... that's what it went for new 17 years earlier. I looked a long time and it was the only decent thing I could find in that price range... except a new, comparable sized Hardy.
That was no real decision involved. I worked the crap out of that little Kubota and it took all I could give it for 15 years... Unfortunately I kept it for 16.The Kubota will use a LOT LESS oil than the hardley...

read your post about the Kubota mower you bought. Glad the dealer fixed it. They lost big time on that one... I'll have to peruse my dealer's back lot and see if they have a used one, they look interesting and probably ride better than my zero turn which is a kidney bruiser. Even installed a suspension seat and it didn't help much.Bout time we made some money….lol
