That's bull. I had no problem insuring a nice home 8' above sea level in SW Florida.
How far is Gore's home from the pacific?

We sold the home in March to someone who got a mortgage, no problem.
Bull? chill, bud. There are numerous reports of uninsurable properties. I never said it was universal. Sea level rise is slow, there's still time for money to be made.

Yours are just as garbage written by ******* artists pushing agendas as well, so tit-for-tat.

Main point is that for every time someone says 'you have no one saying otherwise', or 'there is no data saying different', there are multiple example of that being incorrect. *What* data you choose to believe, and from *whom*, is entirely left up to you and your personal biases.
Well, that's not true, but if you're not willing to do the critical thinking and source quality evaluation yourself... oh well. My links reviewed the actual research and presented factual, summarized results. Yours were opinions of random individuals falsely presented as broad-scale scientific findings, with no citations or actual data to back them up. There is a difference.

Thanks for proving my point.

Lol, ok. Anyway I'm sorry if I'm coming off rude. I don't mind that people disagree on this sh*t, it's been way too political and contentious for far too long now. Skepticism is an important part of science. If your theory can't hold up, it isn't valid.

Personally, I think the data is overwhelming, the climate is heating up and human activity is a significant part of it. That doesn't mean we're going to halt the modern economy, or turn off the power plants. It would just be helpful if the denialists didn't fight back so very, very hard. At least help us clean up the air and water, eh?

Another information problem:

"Biased information is any that I disagree with."

Except what you and your sources fail to cite is the fact that said "research" data had to "adjusted" to get those "summarized results"....

i.e., altered data=altered results...

I think it was A.E. that is credited with the statement:..."if the data does not fit the theory...change the data" (paraphrased)

Yeah..., you keep saying that. Data sets and models get updated and improved all the time, man. It doesn't invalidate the science, but it sure does give skeptics like you a great talking point.

Do you even read what you post ...?

It's cumulative historical data that is critical ...that's the data that had to be changed ...Now days they have changed the times of when temperatures are taken so they don't have to "adjust" the data to fit the models...

Few if any dispute some temps are rising etc...it's propaganda and salesmanship that have driven so many to believe that human release of co2 is the cause...of which there is absolutely ZERO proof...the ONLY evidence there is is from "adjusted" and convoluted data...without that there is NOTHING...PERIOD...!

Don't forget Solar Panels require special chemicals and metals to just fabricate these panels, and lots of electricity is used in the manufacturing process. These solar panels have an average life span of 23 years before they need to be replaced. The efficiency of Solar Panels has not increased more than 0.6% over last 10 years, despite $Billions spent on academic research. Currently there are only three American "manufacturers" of Solar Panels, but two of those actually just import Chinese solar panels and resell them for Homes, RV's and Solar farms. Leaving TESLA as the only true American company and the largest manufacturer of Solar panels in the US.

About 30 years from now when all these first generation of solar panels are ready for the trash, the world will be asking scientist why did we ever decide on solar panels.
Solar Technology Will Just Keep Getting Better: Here’s Why

Ok, that story reported that insurance companies are pulling out of the area which we ran into as well with our national carrier but we were always able to find an insurance co.
That story also states the reasons given were due to hurricanes, not rising sea levels.
LoL...not only that...the article cited a specific storm 'Irma' which happened to cause $50B in damages and was the costliest hurricane in Florida history...

The storm made landfall just north of the Everglades near Fort Myers and tracked North inland between the gulf coast and I75...the entire length of the state...!

Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his/her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people.

Actually the Climate Change "catastrophe" is about Human over population. Mother Earth is aware of the problem. She will soon solve it via an adjustment! ☠️

I'm sort of hoping social darwinism will win out, nature thins the herd by eliminating the stupid among us.

As for over population, you could take the entire population of the world (7.9 billion) and fit them all in the city limits of Butte, Montana and no one would have to be touching anyone else. That leaves a lot of empty land.

This will be my final word on the subject so listen up. I’m 99% sure that 75% of the statistics on this matter are based on the ratio of the area under the curve of the top 15% of the world temps divided by the ratio of the polar ice caps shrinkage averaged with the mean mid day temps averaged over a 12 month period in Hackensack New Jersey. I just can’t make it any simpler than that.

Sooo... what your trying to say is “ what’s this have to do with the price of eggs in China?”

We are actually running that experiment here in Canada
