yes behind the front axle where the 4x4 drive shaft goes into the axle. Are you referring to front differential pivot pin.... My Massey Ferguson GC 1715 has no grease fitting on front differential pivot pin, BUT its lubed from internally with oil from front diff according to MF.... May have same situation with your beast....
thanks , I bought this in 04 the dealer thought it was a 02 or newer. My 2001 built 4110 has 2 grease zerks on the front axle pivot. On the pivot in front of the axle the zerk is on the right side sticking out parallel to the ground and on the rear portion of the pivot behind the axle the zerk is on the left side, parallel to the ground. You use the large bolt w/large locking nut on the front portion of the pivot to adjust the gap between the pivot & axle housing which I think was around .010" - .012". Right & left are as sitting in the seat by the way.
Thanks, its so confusing. but appreciate your help.my 26 doesn't have it, even though the books shows it, dealer says, they havent seen a grease fitting there in a long time... take that for what its worth
I have cleaned and checked it for one sheared off. thanks for your help.I can't really help you there, but are you sure yours didn't just get snapped off or fallen out somehow?
thanks. that is the old style axle this is what mine looks like. no pins.No "pins". Look at this exploded view.
Thanks, internally oiled.Internally oiled.
THANKS, MINE HAS NONE.There are the 2 grease zerks shown in the diagram that I have been greasing for 20 years now - the front and rear pivots of the axle housing are not internally lubed. I have had my axle housing completely out of the tractor twice in 20 years so I know this as fact. Possibly the OP's is a Mitsubishi built tractor and is completely different but mine is TYM built and is the new sheet metal version and this diagram is right out of the shop manual. The only discrepancy is they show the zerks on the same side and on mine the front one is on the right and the rear one is on the left.
I see the parts diagram that shows my pivot.THANKS, MINE HAS NONE.
Unfortunately that link does not take you to parts diagram...thanks. that is the old style axle this is what mine looks like. no pins.
Thanks, internally oiled.
Sorry, this is what my axle looks like. but does not have grease fittings.Unfortunately that link does not take you to parts diagram...
