I was wondering how he was going to manage a 10% grade with snow on it. This is his and my first year here, he bought about a month before I did. I've heard it can snow a lot here, but looking at the snowfall history, it's usually just a few inches at a time, but for two months it doesn't melt much. But being this will his an my first winter, we will probably get a 10 or 20 year event type of winter.If its a tractor and trailer he has nothing to worry about.
I guess you can always wait for it to snow and put the rippers shallow in the box blade to slowly knock em down and push the gravel back into the grooves. At least your neighbor will be good to help pack if you can get the tops knocked over.
