I never could understand why someone would want to pimp themselves, or their wives out to get more hits on their channel? Kinda reminds me of the other poplar sawmill/firewood channel where the guy pimps his wife out in tight cloths all the time, just to get folks to watch his channel.

I guess that's what makes the world go around...

I just figure it's their choice. If no one is forcing them, and they are comfortable with it, who am I to judge?

Maybe ifn you did your splittin in a speedo your hits would rise too.

I agree its more about the window dressing than the substance. Thats a shame.

Here is my splitter. Built by a couple of friends when they were in high school 40+ years ago. Amazing piece of engineering for high school kids and it still works fine. The Wisconsin twin was surplus from the Alaskan pipeline project. I think they stole the hydraulic cylinder. The ram framework moves hydraulically to a horizontal position for transporting it.

IMHO this unit was very efficient ramp to hoist
up the chunks then splitting them 4 pieces and
right into a trailer so they can haul to where ever
they want to stack for winter! Two people could
sure split a lot of fire wood with this machine

That's different for sure, from the looks of how it's made it should be pretty stout. How does it do in some of the knots?

That one is unique for sure. I like that long wedge. Looks like you could chunk stuff up pretty fast.

Anyone though about getting parts from a splitter
company and fabricating a splitter?? I-beam or
beams needed should be able to purchase for less
money than from splitter company Just purchase
the parts you can't make etc. The wood-mizer FS300
has a manual listing all the parts. Just pick out the
splitter you would like and check out the parts list
to see it you could save money this way

There’s no savings in buying new stuff to build a splitter. You have to use junkyard parts to save any money.
