I’ve always wondered if you get paid for trail grooming or is it a freebie? I always assumed it was a volunteer thing.
I was paid a minim wage doing it for years but what you seen here, is volenteer. This is all our personal machines as well.I’ve always wondered if you get paid for trail grooming or is it a freebie? I always assumed it was a volunteer thing.

I think that dog should have a harness on it going to your waist and pull you. Lol, JonHere's a few taken late this afternoon on the trails I rolled this am. Some are on ungroomed singletrack. Should this dog be on a lead?View attachment 724633View attachment 724635
Ski poles and trekking/hiking poles are a tad different. Most of our ski poles are Swix and the hiking poles are in general the Komperdell brand. But we do have lots and lots of poles here! We have carbon ski poles which are lighter but not everyday use things, they tend to break where as aluminum ones you can bend but you can bend them back and still use them. Down side to aluminum is they are a bit heavier.Hey ArlyA , care to comment on your experiences up there with trekking poles in the extreme ? Aluminum or Carbon fiber ? Favorite brand ?
