As seen on our trails today while doing implement testing 1,2 and 3.

1st pass, you see the trails are rough. TYou can see two 25lbs weights we added to the pan. It needed them!

This is a live shot, hence the blurring.

That looks good.

Denise, did you note the closer tooth positions were used?
Yes I did. That ought to scratch it up pretty well.
Well done!

I've been showing Joleen your snow pictures and she likes them.

How does it pull?

How does it pull?
It pulled well, but I've built and used this design in the past so that was expected. What did surprise me was I made 4 passes on trails to level and firm them up but during the 3 and 4th pass, (the trail is twice as wide as the drag so passes weren't really on top of each other) the torque it took to pull it had become quite high. I barley made it up some hills as the Bosses tracks spun! What was happening was the harrow teeth were cutting deeper with each subsequent passes and became harder to pull and without an actuator to hold them up, I couldn't stop that from happening. Normally we lift the teeth when you have a tight corner so the snow carried within the machine goes out which is much help.

What are the LxW dimensions and Weight?

Hey Arly,
(or anybody)
What do you know about fat bike grooming on trails?

I am only asking for the good of the order. I know others have been watching this thread and considering their own builds. I just thought it might be good to know the basics of what you have there. LxW and Weight for example.

The frame is 5ft wide plus wings, so with them, it will be around 7ft. Its close to 8ft long without hitch. Weight I'm not sure, it might be 125lbs but its also unfinished. Weight is not all that important for snow implements.
