Kioti Broken in Half

I didn't say an ex wasn't as good, in case you can't read. I said I didn't enjoy operating it, so your weenie is bigger. (y)
Here ya go. (Go bully the dog after you take that reference pic for us)

So just how big an ex should I use to trench power, water, and drain lines, dig for a 1500 gal septic tank, or bury a horse when I've had/used more than enough for either/any since '06? Forgive my mere 15 yrs of operating both and owning only what works for my tasks vs what impresses armchair judges who don't know me from Adam.

btw, I don't drive my F450 to the grocery store. I have a car and I know how to use it. Just lettin' ya know, your honor. :)

Yeah Now there is some Major Damage...
What Truly Broke in Half means.

From the pics shown I think the Kioti owner was a Whole lot luckier on the actual damage to the core tractor components.
That Kubota had to be an expensive fix. Here is hoping KTAC was in effect.
Totally my fault!! I was trying to do something the tractor was not supposed to do. Fortunately, I sold the tractor for $9K after the damage. It broke at the mid mount. No ktac.

I mainly make my living with a 2ton excavator that people like to joke on, till they see it in action. So I'm definitely not in the competition for the "largest unit". Lol

I thought I would regret not buying a KX57 over the KX40 but the selection was bad and the price difference was fairly considerable so I bought the 40. I’ve been very pleased with what it will do. It’s a vast improvement over the M59 I had before it.

I was trying to do something the tractor was not supposed to do.

We would really really like to know what that something was. We are not going to laugh at you or try to make you feel bad, but if you mention what that "something" is, it can help many other people that might be doing that very something.

I just saw this machine on market place. I’ve seen some track loader backhoes but that’s the first articulated backhoe I’ve seen especially that small. They were ahead of their time with a mini articulated loader with the ability to work off both ends. They could have had something with that.

I was trying to pull a 6" diameter oak tree out of the ground with a fel mounted post puller. Push, pull and lift. It was probably the 100th tree I pulled. It just caught up with me and the tractor. Its pictured with a 3 point adaptor attached

Wow, I would not have thought that would have broken your tractor. I would have thought the relief valve would have just opened and that would have been that. I have done a lot worse.

"Like a Boss" (y) .. and apologies that I don't know you from Adam either. 💩 I have 15 productive/efficient years with the T5C and have drawn a crowd out of curiosity more than once, then out of fascination when I'm in my groove and really working it ... w/o breakin' it. (an 'audience' makes me nervous at times .. and 'clutzy'.)

It's one thing to buy what you can afford. It's a 'bigger' thing to be good with what you operate. IMO nothin' beats (properly) dedicated equipment. (see my guy above)

"You scarin' me." I'm gettin' ballasted and loaded rears off the ground often with a similar grapple doing the 'push-pull' on my T1520 w/110TL and on 3-4" trees in light soil. While I'm adding SSQA to the TC33DA's more powerful 14LA not sure anymore I couldn't bust the tractor. Elms have 'side' roots/runners and might rip a lot of sod coming out, but oaks have tap roots. They're no joke and why I bought the DR stump grinder.

I bought the tractor used with 1800 hours. I have no idea what it was used for before I got it. The fel it came with was the wrong one for the tractor. I had to do some reinforcing of the mounts to get it to hold. Thats probably one of the reasons why it broke. I broke it with about 2100 hours. I freely admit I abused the poor thing. To complete the tasks I had, I made the decision to replace it with a Kubota M6060 and have the property professionally masticated. Now I wont have the need to abuse the tractor and, I have enough tractor to the jobs I'll need it for.
