The Kubota LA1953 soft ride used two Bosch accumulators pre charged to two different pressures. Maybe to provide dampening in a broader weight range?
The McCormick has two pre charged and teed together at the same pressure. How much is engineering or bean counting is a guess. None look like they could be recharged. Some can.

All the aftermarket ones can. They have a schrader valve under the top cap. Again, not compressed air, has to be Nitrogen. I would say the volume don't have to be large (like a forklift), just enough to take the solid hydraulic lock out. I may build my own when the weather improves. Certainly not complex and a very good idea. The rub will be getting them charged as I suspect they ship devoid of gas. Has to be an inert gas charge. I wonder if argon is compatible. If it is, I could pre charge from one of my shielding gas bottles. Argon, like Nitrogen, is inert. Still kind of mystified why Long uses 2. Only reason I can see is space limitations.

Just like a pressure tank on a well but higher pressure and not water. Same exact principle, rubber bladder seperating the fluid from the gas.

I have em on both my Kubotas and they make a difference. The accumulators on one of mine musta blown a seal. Not working as well as the other.
Best friend you could have for carrying heavy hay bales across fields.
Black knob in the yellow circle is “on/off” knob.
Cab mounted, like I have for the front suspension would be much better.

I have the Loader Suspension System on my 40066r. It is a single accumulator and a manual ball valve.

With the valve closed, the loader behaves as normal

With the valve open, the loader basically rides on the compressed nitrogen, moving up/down absorbing shock loads from bumps... As other have said, it works well in that respect. The loader response to the joystick is noticeably slow...so I close the valve for fork and most loader bucket work.

I leave the valve open using the loader mounted snowblower. Not for ride, but to allow the blower to follow the driveway better with less downforce than with the loader in float. I absolutely LOVE this capability. This has become my primary use for the system. It works great reducing crushed stone removal! :)

Claims about reduced wear and tear on the tractor are mostly true, HOWEVER the system allows loader to continuously move up and down to achieve the smoother ride. I'd speculated INCREASED wear on the loader arm pivot points. Frequent greasing of those joints should resolve that issue.

they each have a different precharge pressure. Opposing weight (empty vs full bucket for example) damps better when the precharge is close to it.

One thing I'm going to inquire about is the inert gas. I figure a call to Motion Industries will answer that question for me.

The way I read it, the precharge pressure needs to be about 80% of the working pressure.

The precharge on most of these accumulators used as soft ride for loaders is around 580 to 700 PSI. Of course it can vary with the loader geometry and cylinder sizes. Too high of a pressure and it will only work with a decent amount of weight on the loader. To little pressure and it won't soften the ride that much.

Mine is precharged to 700 PSI and I find it to be a bit too much as it will only work with a full bucket of dirt.

Then I'll want a lower pressure as all I want to do is take the sock out when roading on Michigan's sucko roads.
