If you think that is tight you need to come visit and see mine!

By the way, It’s clear you have no understanding of my opinion !

I think it’s funny you got all but hurt over my response to your first post. Which clearly didn’t give your point correctly and my offer for steaks and beer would only give us something to laugh at while my incompetent neighbors entertain us. I sincerely doubt ethier one of us would have to worry about hitting anything but making it tight would serve for both of us to prove we have merits to what we say. So who is wrong here? I look at your photo and can assure one thing, that is I wouldn’t fret over which trailer I decided to bring as I could get in there with anything that I have that attaches to my pick up truck!
No go figure how and we will both be correct!

You could have 10 million miles experience pulling a trailer for all we care. That wasn’t the point. And maybe you could wiggle the trailer around and eventually get it in. That wasn’t the point either. A BP trailer of equal length tracks closer to the truck tracks than a GN does. That’s easily proven fact.

Ahhh...someone who actually understands. Refreshing for a change. Gets tiresome trying to beat a dead horse over the same stupid stuff all the time because some people simply cannot see the facts

Nope.....no understanding of an opinion that is wrong.

And you can look at the photo all you want....rest assured you ain't getting a 25' GN in there without wiping out a pillar. Don't give a $hit how good you think you are.

You can't change the facts that a BP tracks closer to the vehicle tracks....and thus can make be tighter turn.

And no one got butt hurt. At least on my end. Just trying to educate you on reality....but funny you think a discussion turns to that. Like this is Facebook and I got butt hurt and offended...lol. gonna take alot more than trying to educate your incorrect philosophy to get me "butt hurt"...lol

Your not doing a very good job of educating someone who today went in and out of a place that is much tighter than that. So unless I am misjudjuding the pictures it’s really not going to be any trouble at all for me to get in or out of there. So as much as you think your right, I will continue to use the GN for 99% of my needs and mark you as plain wrong on all counts because you fail to question how when you simply don’t know and choose instead to try and educate someone who already proves you wrong on a daily basis!
Don’t worry others are reading this thinking just like you but my guess is there is one or two who know exactly why I would have no issue with that and they like me are laughing like hell and staying silent to avoid the argument because they feel no need to try and educate someone who is unwilling to learn.

Again you might be the best truck driver in the world and maybe you can fit a full size semi through a 10 foot wide driveway with post on both sides and the street is only 12 foot wide. But that wasn’t the point. With a GN trailer the pivot is over the axle. It’s slower to respond to steering input and it stays directly in the center of the vehicles track. Also the GN trailer is going to be longer between the pivot and the axel than a comparable deck BP would be. With a BP trailer the the truck bumper is going to swing more towards the outside of the turn which will make the trailer turn faster and the distance between the hitch and the axel is less. A shorter trailer tracks closer than a longer one. Anyone with a lick of sense understands that. If you’re too unwilling to learn that’s a different set of problems. This isn’t a discussion of driver skill. This isn’t a discussion about weight distribution. This isn’t a discussion about each trailers towing stability. I agree a GN is better at nearly every other aspect. But when you cut your pickup wheels to max angle and drive forward the equal deck length BP trailer will follow closer in your tracks than the GN will.

You both are missing something huge and trying to insert words into my statement that I never said.
One person on here knows exactly why I have no issue putting my GN into a tight spot that most would have issue with, maybe he will post up and tell you what I did to his trailer to help him turn into tighter places as well.

You are the only one missing something.

You refuse to concede that a BP tracks the truck better than a GN and don't have to swing turns as wide or cut corners short if you don't swing wide enough.

It's not a debate, it's not an opinion....that statement is fact. And you refuse to acknowledge it and still want to argue and make yourself look foolish

Looks like this horse has been beaten to death...
Agree.

I thought this was already discussed, and the thread was done when the OP posted pics of his new trailer a month ago.

Yet here we are rehashing a simple fact.
