What up GC people! So I've been doing some stuff here and there, built me some debris forks for instance. But specific to the GC, I finally addressed that irritating neutral safety, I hate that thing. I unbolted it, and zip tied it in the neutral position. And then just tucked it away under the seat. No more having to put it in neutral to start it.

neutral switch never bugged me really just damned seat switch bugs me in certain scenarios
except for the one time the nylon on the neutral switch broke and I had to superglue the switch in start position. :D

all I did today was hook the heavyhitch hiller (link-I have the tire sweeps (s-tines) don't use them, have the row creator use a lot) up, rehilled peas and beans (corn tomorrow after I weed) moved trailers around, moved the tiller and woods rc4 bush hog out of way, used sundown bb20-60 to create flat(ter) spots to store tiller, box blade, and the FEL. put the bush hog up at front of yard for new owner (it wasn't mine was storing for someone) then dropped FEL attached MMM and mowed 1.5+ acres.
all in about 2 hours.
busy day,
whew.

Oh yeh, I zip tie that seat safety switch too lol! But I do snip the zip tie when running any sort of PTO.

The GC2300 had a really bad seat switch design, replaced once under warranty. In winter, the seat foam would harden, not allowing the switch to make contact when sitting in it. There was also no provision for using the PTO without the seat occupied. It got jumpered pretty quick as 80-90% of my use was snowblowing or woodchipping.

Neutral safety bypass so you can start in gear ?
Or PTO Neutral safety so PTO can run ?

To start in gear. I see no point to the neutral safety in a HST trans on my property, it's just a hassle for me.

Unless your pedal gets slightly out of spec and the tractor moves on start..
Seems risky, but not my tractor.

believe me when tractor is 12+ yrs old you can spend a lot of money making sure they don't stick (all to save your knees) and when cold (I had to deal with this when waiting on new switch for mine when morning temps were in mid 30's) if you forget and set throttle 1/2 to 3/4 way run plugs then it fires...hits 2k suddenly....it can jump on you especially in high range.
hows that for a long run on sentence?

/\ customer wanted a “ramp” to connect his two lots. 18tons of modified and 3 yards of top soil. The customer will plant grass. Also drilled 25 post holes.

Yeh nice deck, composite right? I'm gonna replace my deck with composite sometime...sick of dealing with carpenter bees and having to re-stain it so often.

I cleared a patch of woods next to my kitchen door to put in a little patio for my BBQ and new flat top grill I got for father's day. I only used the stock bucket which did a great job of scraping away the undergrowth. Then a little work with the landscape rake. If it looks a little lopsided it is. I put a slight slope for drainage. Close enough for government work. lol

Close enough for government work.

Too funny, I grew up hearing that saying from my step dad. Good memories! Thanks

Looks good!

not my 1723, although I got 12-15 of the 100 hours (yup not even done first service) on it, but...this gonna get repossessed soon and where it was it would be vandalized. so the old 2010 marquis hauled it to safe space so when repo comes its good to go.
still get odd looks from people. its like they think I didn't consider machine weight, trailer load rating, the weight moment for balance, the tow vehicle (with electric brakes) capabilities.
whatever, when repo takes it the unit will be safe and sound.

It's a shame about the repossession, but nice to see the Grand Monkey! Cars aren't trucks like they used to be, people aren't used to a sedan that could tow 5k pounds. Over, with the tow package, if I remember right.
