Drew, the spark plug tools include include a pull out to bend the electrode by hooking it and bending it. If not just pry with a small screw driver or knife

Where did you find that?
Got it from Weisser distributing but is on Amazon in various qualities. Mine is 3/8 gallon or 400 ml and works well and can be taken apart for cleaning. The ones at the auto stores are junk

The more I hear about shoulder surgery the more I am inclined to avoid it and just do PT and get it as good as it is going to get. I will still get the MRI to see what the damage is and get an idea of what movements to avoid

Good Morning.. 58 here headed to 68 - very nice day. My wife wanted to redo the front flower garden this year. So we bought some rose bushes, 5 hydrangea plants, many hostas.
We waited to put them out. put them out about 10 days ago. Then the low temp Sat and Sunday went to 30. We brought hanging plants in and covered the ones ground planted. They look good now. Those hydrangeas are expensive. Think we spent about $400 on 5 of them. Have a good day.
We bend over some of the branches on the hydrangeas and covered in soil and they set roots

Good (Tuesday) ANZAC Day morning. The overnight Low was 9C but dropped down to 6C at dawn. It's presently clear, sunny and calm at 8.3C... looking to reach 21C.

A great turnout for the Dawn ceremony (400+) and we then 'retired' to the RSL for a 'gunfire' coffee (coffee with a shot of rum). I'm back home to thaw out my toes and will head back in for the 1100 ceremony with wreath laying.

Penelope the pussybeast graciously came in, last evening, at 1900 so I was able to go to bed right away and got plenty of rest/sleep prior to getting up this morning at 0200.

That's about it, take care all.

Lest We Forget.

I didn't know that. I will look into that. The ones we got were "Endless summer" ... We have one in the back that blooms on the "old stems." Wonder if there is a way to take a cutting from that and plant it? Interesting. We bought a few hostas this year, but we transplanted several of the old ones that are starting to pop up. I broke up several hosta groups and planted when I found they cost $20 in a quart pot. Thanks for the info.

M7040, I had shoulder surgery in 2018. Cured my shoulder pain. But required PT caused on of my Biceps to break off. PT was required before I could get a MRI. It’s a Medicare rule. They do not repair this on a person my age. While I have no more pain in that arm. It does not have the strength it had before injury. It’s why I have changed over to battery operated tools. Be careful with PT. I now have a Popeye arm. It’s where the bicep has rolled up in my upper arm.

Ron, thank you so much for your comments. I think I can live with some pain mostly when reaching behind me and limiting the use with tools on that arm. The PT person I am using is very careful but I will for sure not go heavy in order to not tear it up more. Plan to do the MRI in a couple of weeks. Again thank you

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to Mrs. Jay (Peg) hope she has many more.

Material gathering was successful! Except for the part when they charged for an extra 2 2x4's.... $14 worth. I didn't notice until after getting home. Oh well....

No rain yet.... I don't think it is going to happen. Just way to dry at the surface. Humidity is only 12%. Clouds moved in, but nothing dropping....

RNG, you reported the "super bloom" in Cali before the news.... they showed the colors can be seen from space! Must be spectacular in person!

Drew, glad you got the Gravely running better. Hopefully running some fresh gas will cure the rough running.

Everyone have a pleasant evening!

I want to get a felling rope and line to throw up over a branch.
IF your shoulder can handle it I've found that I'm most effective with a "tennis ball" slingshot designed to throw tennis balls for dogs. I loosely coil a light throw line and can fairly accurately shoot up into a tree. Then pull up heavier rope or chain.

Ron- I have 2 Popeye arms. It was not PT that led to this, but a mix of meds that I was taking at the time. And now I have an unnatural craving for spinach and beating up big guys with beards.

31°F and clear skies this morning, got up to 61° today. I'd like to be done with this freezing stuff already. Not as windy today, though.

Got a little more mowing done this evening after work. Still never got back to the pasture. Probably wait until the weekend at this point. Didn't look super tall anyway.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Brumberg.

Glad you had a good turnout, Randy. Always thankful for anyone who's fought for freedom.

Wife brought back from Canada a 2L jug of Sweet Ontario pure maple syrup. Oh, my ...
She also brought some Doo Doo's butter tarts, from a little bakery in Bailieboro, ON. Oh, my ...
Won't be losing any weight this week.

Good evening, gents.

Ta Mate.

We had another great turnout for the wreath laying ceremony, probably 350+, which is fantastic for a wee town of 3,500. There are a few other towns in our 'Shire' (County) that would be holding their own too.

Oh, yeah... I did get Paddock #3 chain-harrowed & mulched yesterday. :)

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 23° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 43° with rain in afternoon. In between snow flakes falling I spent sometime running vacuum in pond. Not a easy job. 10' of wand full of water and debris. Water is clearer each time I do it. Today will be a conserve energy day.
Caught this Tufted Titmouse setting still long enough for a photo yesterday.

good morning all
a veggie cringing 36 degrees out, going up to 60 in sunshine today

am off to primary doc early this morning, likely to get nagged at about weight and sugar, don't know my cholesterol scores yet, but they were ok
last time.

I have to pick out some new formica for a carpenter to make new kitchen counter for me. Tiny kitchen, now I have to figure out the color part, blending in with plain beige
kitchen cabinets. Need to get some options and show them to landlady and let her pick. Need something light colored, maybe whitish with some beige stuff mixed in, like fake marble. This is where I wish I had more female input.

lot of rain headed our way later this week and all weekend, looks like almost three inches total. The pollen has been so heavy I have left the slide
in on the rv, keep all that pollen out Schwintek slide mechanism. Sure would be nice to have a garage for this thing but that's not in the cards.

hope you all have a nice day
