Tractor lots are full

Our lots are full here.

I know one thing! I have been in the market to need and want to buy a tractor. The prices are frigging unreal!! Even used implement prices here are stupid compared to a few years back.

Chinese tractors once sold new for 3-5 grand new now they are selling for 7-9 used.

I've been watching for JD and kubota. I've lowered my sights to RK and Mahindra. Now I just figured to give up altogether till I find a used deal reasonably enough.

I live on north Alabama.
Time to look at Belarus. I've used them for 35 years, had nary a problem with 15000+ hours i put on the clock( 20 thou in total on this one)., boughten with 5000 hrs on the first one and 800 hrs on the current one( paid 5 grand on the former and 4 grand on the latter, both with front end loaders.
Try to beat that.

I have noticed people who have lots of money still have money to spend. Equipment dealers could see high end product continue to sell. But people who have less money are now priced out of the market.
In my online business we are now seeing the high end and the low end sell. Not much in the middle selling which used to be our main stay.

I think this Bidenflation is pricing everything out of peoples reach!

"You will own nothing and be happy" isn't just a catch phrase, it's the intention of the WEF and their puppet governments. Read Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030. Lots of nasty little surprises in store for people. And Klaus Schwab and the WEF weren't elected to do spit, yet they have control of mankind. As long as people keep doing the sheeple thing, they will continue their theft and fraud.

I'm seeing quite a few different places getting re-stocked: Cars, trucks, UTV's, trailers, tractors, lawn equipment.........And I'm seeing slow-downs in industry across the country............every industry. Several someone's have said "be patient and don't buy anything right now- you're money will go way farther later in the year". Tesla's dropping it's prices now not wanting to wait for everyone to start discounting later. I think just about everything's going to be on sale late this year into next year.

Prices have become completely detached from economic realities. Everything has turned into a luxury reserved for the top 10%. It's not a sustainable economic model, and Tesla is starting to eat the lunch of the domestic manufacturers. They still have higher margins after lowering prices. GREED has taken over, and that never ends well.

For me to buy another brand new 1 ton diesel truck it would have to be almost 50% off, because the prices make no economic sense anymore.

The supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19 are finally starting to clear up. This, combined with healthy competition for our dollars, should mean some nice discounts soon!

I don't like politics here, either. If y'all take down your political crap, I'll change my avatar into a tractor 😉

First post!

Lets take bets on who's burner account this is...

everyone is keeping their powder dry while our government is busy destroying out country and the dollar. i'm recently retired, so any money I have is either in the bank (where it is losing it's value by the day) or social security. either way, we are watching our nation die in slow motion.
It’s very stressful. There’s not too many places left to go. I have been praying a lot more lately and placing my faith in The Lord. We are controlled by evil forces. The pocket supercomputer is one, our leaders are another.
You may want to invest in hard assets. Land, Gold, Silver. Once this recession hits this fall, it’s going to get very difficult.

No leave it. It gives constant reminder how bad things can get.

My favorite flavor ice cream is Chocolate Chip. What’s yours?

Just viewed an old Yanmar 4wd, rough but running, asking $2600.
Tractor lots full here too. Car dealers have lots of overpriced cars.
My elec bill doubled, gonna double again, soon as the solar panel subsidies kick in.

Is that the green and black one on craigslist? That thing has been on there for a year now, or it seems that way lol.

The seller must be pretty insistent on price, because it seems like for ~$1.5k - $2k this would at least be a fun project.

"COVID-19" didn't cause anything, the government and the FED did. Get your facts straight. And your new account with 1 whole post indicates you are a political troll.

Covid lockdown was from the CDC and it lined the pockets of many including Fauci…
He and Hunter Biden should be investigated, but they have some sort of shield around them.
If you ask me it is messed up!

I don't know which tractor you're talking about, but many yanmars were brought into the US as having been reconditioned after having been used overseas. Given the age and parts availability of some of those tractors, I'm not sure I'd want to buy into a project with one of them. Doubt they would have much resale value.

I bought a used Yanmar 226d with low hours with a box blade and rotary cutter from a Yanmar dealer 30+ years ago for something like $5,500. I am still using this equipment. The 226d just turned over 1,000 hours with very few issues over the years.

Today, I was quoted $2,500 to pickup my Mahindra 3525 and replace two brake shaft seals.

I don't think my money buys as much today as it used to.

Imagine what they would think if the men who signed the United States Declarations of Independence could see what the US govt has become today.

I had a 4wd Yanmar for over 5 years and loved it. I think it was a late 70s/early 80s grey market model. I was able to get every part I ever needed, including a new radiator, etc. I think it was 21 or 22 hp, but that little 2 cylinder did just about the same level of work as my 3 cylinder JD790 30hp tractor (also a Yanmar).

Having owned the 226d for all these years, I think the quality was excellent and Yanmar screwed up by exiting the US market in the 1980s. They could have been in the position of Kubota today in the US.
