Have no issues with buying pre owned from a dealer but then I always do my due diligence first.
Time to look at Belarus. I've used them for 35 years, had nary a problem with 15000+ hours i put on the clock( 20 thou in total on this one)., boughten with 5000 hrs on the first one and 800 hrs on the current one( paid 5 grand on the former and 4 grand on the latter, both with front end loaders. Our lots are full here.
I know one thing! I have been in the market to need and want to buy a tractor. The prices are frigging unreal!! Even used implement prices here are stupid compared to a few years back.
Chinese tractors once sold new for 3-5 grand new now they are selling for 7-9 used.
I've been watching for JD and kubota. I've lowered my sights to RK and Mahindra. Now I just figured to give up altogether till I find a used deal reasonably enough.
I live on north Alabama.
I think this Bidenflation is pricing everything out of peoples reach!
I'm seeing quite a few different places getting re-stocked: Cars, trucks, UTV's, trailers, tractors, lawn equipment.........And I'm seeing slow-downs in industry across the country............every industry. Several someone's have said "be patient and don't buy anything right now- you're money will go way farther later in the year". Tesla's dropping it's prices now not wanting to wait for everyone to start discounting later. I think just about everything's going to be on sale late this year into next year.
The supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19 are finally starting to clear up. This, combined with healthy competition for our dollars, should mean some nice discounts soon!
I don't like politics here, either. If y'all take down your political crap, I'll change my avatar into a tractor![]()
It’s very stressful. There’s not too many places left to go. I have been praying a lot more lately and placing my faith in The Lord. We are controlled by evil forces. The pocket supercomputer is one, our leaders are another.everyone is keeping their powder dry while our government is busy destroying out country and the dollar. i'm recently retired, so any money I have is either in the bank (where it is losing it's value by the day) or social security. either way, we are watching our nation die in slow motion.
