Morning to all;
Had a busy yesterday and expect today will be also. Rented a Kubota excavator a KX 80, nice machine as far as hydraulics and controls but the tracks are whipped she doesn't get around as good as it should. Dug a ditch for a retaining wall removing a bunch of large rocks and rotted railroad ties and set up two courses of mafia blocks. Today will be removing the drive entrance to the garage that is in poor shape and has some cracks and holes. Then to start getting forms ready for a couple of concrete pours after adding a bit of gravel in a few places. Been quite a while since I put in a full day on equipment, about 6 hours on the excavator and 3-4 hours on the tractor hauling off the spoils pile.
Everyone stay safe.
You got the Big Daddy Kubota👍 probably could have yanked all our stumps in one morning with that unit !

Good morning, the low is 45 and the high going to 68°F. Wind WSW 5 to 10 mph. Zero % of precipitation. I can handle that.

After the town/dump run yesterday, I opted to do nothing. Had pancakes for supper with real maple syrup and promptly at 6:30 laid down for a power nap. Turned that into a power sleep...all night...got up at 6 this morning.
Found I had 5 pages to catch up on before I could post this one.

Drew, SAFE-T-CAP used to make corners for Jeeps and I am pretty sure they will fit your camper. At least checking out their website will give you a few options/ideas on what to do to alleviate your problem.

Kilroy, have you thought about a stump fence? They also make a good habitat for small critters.

Tin work is on the list for today and tomorrow. IF I can get it all knocked off today then I can top dress the north field tomorrow and possibly fill in a couple of ruts I found when I cut the grass.
My compost pile is ONLY for the lawns. We put the used cat litter onto it over the winter. I stir it up in spring (already done) and fall.

You all have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
I am lining up the stumps as a security Barrier next to the gate, to complement the withies in the barbed wire strands 😎

60°.
Up late
Had weird dreams, one I had copperheads after me and they were fast. I tripped and fell, they stopped. I got up, went inside to get shotgun. Another dream I rolled under a bed to hide from my wife in fun, I woke up claustrophobic. Lol
Then third dream I was mowing a field or large yard. An eagle flew down in front of me, hovering right in front of me, like the hummingbird did yesterday, and I couldn’t get my phone camera open in time. There was more I remember, but more weird stuff.
Usually I don’t remember dreams, and I had 3 last night I remember well.

Wife going to Dr to have her knee looked at.
Guess I’ll start mowing today, must not have finished it in my dream. Should change oil in ZT.

LS, where did you get the mulch? wife wants me to run into Lowes and get the 1.5cf scotts mulch 5 for $10 on sale.

I'm also shopping Flail mowers for Dad to use, at least 73" one.
I got it at Home Depot. The 'Vigoro' brand. It is 5 for $10 also, but 2 CF bags. Sale is on until Monday.

75 degrees in Solebury PA, high of the day
have most of rv unpacked but no rush, plugged it back into power so fridge would stay on.

nice easy drive home, watered veggies, going to have an early lunch and then a nap.
no worry about rv, I'll never ding it again.
ahem

30 bags of mulch Ted and they are all attached to your knee.
be careful. Hoping you do not wake up tomorrow
with a knee of new proportions.
but then what to do when docs do not provide successful guidance.

so your TBN doc of zero merit hopes you wear a brace or whatever.
you have medical training, you know better. Pretty hard to fix yourself isn't it?...
I'm definitely careful when even just walking. It's strange how one can adapt, becoming adept at not using an appendage. Work smarter.....
Yes, I usually use a brace when standing or walking. Surprisingly, no more pain or swelling than "usual".

It does help that I am stubborn and determined to not let this keep me down..... I have resolved myself to the fact that anything I do now will be considerably much slower...

Good morning! Low of 44°, heading up to 78°. Heavy cloud cover now, but only a 20% chance of storms. There is a 'dry line' set up almost right over us, so storms might form near us, but then head east.

Kyle, congrats to both your daughter and son. You must be one proud dad for sure!

Wng, condolences on your loss.

Drew, good to hear the campgrounds were nice and you enjoyed the trip. Sorry about the 'crunch'.

Today's agenda is to spread some gravel, then maybe get to set up the strawberry raised planter. Just going to make it a slow paced day.....

My sister will be stopping by tomorrow evening on their way up to Colorado Springs. My BIL's nephew is graduating from the AF Academy and they will be attending his graduation on Monday. I haven't seen her for about 10 years, being they live in Gibbsboro NJ. ---- quite far from us. But, my whole family lives in the Delaware Valley......

Everyone enjoy their day! -- TGIF!

Kyle- Congratulations that your kids are doing something + and not -. Definitely reflects on the “parenting.”

Fritz- The should be more individuals in the world like your daughter.

Bruce- Nice jersey. The smoke is gone for now.

RonJH- Nice squirrel capture. Thanks for sharing.

Billy- I am sorry to read about your Wife’s Uncle. I hope that you and your family, and dogs have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Scott- I hope you and your Wife have a lot of quality time with the grandkids.

No smoke and clear skies this morning and all I could smell are the flowering AutumnRussian Olives. This morning's low temperature was a breezy 35ºF with 20mph wind gusts recorded. It remains clear, breezy and sunny. Today's high temperature was the 65ºF recorded earlier. It is 64º here ATM. It has been a good day for puttering around. No real plans other than grilling some 🥩🥩's tonight.

A returning Indigo Bunting arrived this morning.
