I would rather have a natural gas power plant on 122 acres of land than have to look at 1.7 million solar panels on 3000 acres of land ANY TIME..

Don't forget, the NG plant isn't running in that picture. When it runs, there's a continuous plume of steam to muck up the horizon that's visible for 20 miles.

Also, it dumps snow on anyone downwind in the winter. Thanks neighbor. ;)

The steam does not hurt the atmosphere and it does not dump snow on anyone in the winter it disipates pretty quickly , I worked in the petrochemical industry for 38 yrs , I would rather see a little steam disipate in the atmosphere rather than seeing acres and acres of solar power panels
I have worked in the power plants and the steam is coming from the cooling towers and they do not cause snow..I never seen us not have snow on the ground in the plant and a big snow storm over the fence in the local communities...That is B.S. , Steam from a cooling tower or any where else during cold weather does not cause snow fall else where...that is ludicrous..
The steam does not stay visible in the atmosphere for 20 miles..not hardly.

May I suggest locally reported weather news on the steam/snow events.

It is a reported and recorded event that happens.

That is not steam. It’s water vapor. Steam does not exist at that temperature at anywhere near atmospheric pressure.

. . .
Steam from a cooling tower or any where else during cold weather does not cause snow fall else where . . .

It is hard to believe that water vapor coming from a cooling tower does not freeze during cold weather resulting in frozen precipitation be it either snow or sleet.

However it is unlikely that such contribution to frozen precipitation is significant or evn measurable with respect to the water vapor in the atmospere from other sources.

Visible from 20 miles away. And further.

I can see it 50 miles away with a pair of binoculars but it is not leaving a 20 mile long trail like you are saying.
You must be looking up too high in the sky and getting confused with vapor trails on jet airplanes.
