Jump on it. Running, its a great deal.

There are all kinds of good repair manuals for the machine and parts support too.

I think this or something like it could be a good fit for ArlyA's use. 4x4, big enough to work, small enough to be easy to haul, not priced through the roof, in running condition, etc.

But no loader, which I think is essential on a first real tractor for rural homeowner use. Move snow, a 750 lb capacity wheelbarrow or shop crane, level rototilled ground by dragging the bucket backward, even a raised work platform. The uses are endless.

Ya, loader seems pretty important for our needs.

If I had no tractor and the Massey showed up, I would jump on it. Mitsubishi machines are as dependable as the Yanmars. And no worries about gray market issues as it's a Massey.

I was once a moderator at the Mitsubishi-Satoh group until I became the full admin of the Yanmar group.
I've revised this old document to become refreshed with much helpful info. Its pinned at the top of the Mitsubishi TBN section too.

Yanmars and Mitsubishi share many tractor parts. Not really the engine, yet all the stuff on the engine being used.

On this property I used a rear scoop on the Yanmar YM2000 for decades. Had a FEL on a JD. that was just a couple miles away. Never had to move it over here though. Seen the Ford tractor on CL. 2500$ with the loader is what I gave for it 63-2000 gas. Loaded rear tires so no need for 4WD.. The weight is has to be huge. No problems with traction even wet!! Just need to replace the front grill and fenders now. Been through everything. 12v new Ing.points, Clutch/P. Plate etc. If I do find and replace the body parts I may paint it. So into it with my time and 1600.00 in repair/Parts. Plan on keeping this one. The cool factor is off the chart!!...

Farmers used to do a lot with only a rear pond scoop, brush cutter, and box blade on their tractors.

Chances are that a good 4x4 tractor with a FEL won't just be $3,000.

Pond scoops are alright. They do have working limits.

A REL behaves like a FEL, with the exception the vertical height is limited.

A few SCUT Yanmars used them as well, typically less than 1/2 the price of a FEL.

For my use, a FEL is bulky and take time for removal off the tractor. There isn't much need for the FEL on my farm to be lifted very high. A REL or pond scoop would satisfy my needs overall and quickly change out.

As the OP is living in winters of feet of snow vs us at inches of snow, a REL or FEL is to be considered.
