What did you do with your Chinese baby digger today?

used mine to set rafters on the greenhouse,--course had to cheat and bolt an angle iron to the side of the bucket! lol! I just used the tooth holes and drilled the angle iron the same hole size. Bolted it on with the tooth bolts. I HAD to take the teeth off to get the bucket to dump dirt anyway. I made better extensions for the bucket that dont bother when dumping. The worst problem I have is bending the teeth. They are soft as butter! Anyway I have a plan to add square bars on each side and shape them to a point on the leading edge then harden them by heating them in the forge like I do plow shares.
Anyway a couple pix of the rafter setting.

Didnt get any pix but I used the digger to set logs on the bandsawmill yesterday. It handles MOST of the logs I saw. Its faster than using a skidloader, plus smaller and easier to get around with. I can set them instead of dumping logs on the mill. They do tend to roll off the loader forks.

I hear ya. I have used mine to pile logs, but I still find it easier to use the tractor forks for the WoodMizer and Lucas mills. The forks are the ONLY way to move my slabs when chainsaw milling.

I do fantasize about making a small rotating hyd log grapple for the mini-X. It certainly can lift some pretty heavy logs.

I took delivery yesterday of another Chinese Lil' Digger.. Same color as the L12, but a little stronger and maybe faster. Also it uses Green Energy Technology. Near Zero emissions. Little cheaper also at $55.00, tax and shipping included. Hoping to try it tomorrow.20240218_151303.jpg

Finally, I did the ISO to ASE controls swap. Not as easy as I thought it would be.

Quick question, Do all the Chinese baby diggers have the Torque Marks 0n the fasteners?? my L12 has a Sharpie mark across
all the nuts, bolts, connections. I have been turning wrenches long enough to know when the fasteners I am removing have been torqued to the same spec. or at least within a few pounds.. so far, everything I have removed has been properly torqued.

If you need to remove hydraulic lines from the stack valve, you may need a 17mm crows foot. I had to buy the entire set just to get the 17. really helped to get the lines off.

I pulled the sheet metal off when I switched controls, which made it fairly simple. Pulling the sheet metal off was a bit more work.

That's good news.

I have yet to see those marks. AgroTK is a reseller that gets units from multiple factories.
