To be honest I haven't read some of the comments.
White before they changed to the White branding and (silver) offered tractors and combines in sumac red (Cockshutt), Meadow green (Oliver) or power yellow (MM). Often the same exact machine but may have had different model numbers.

I often wondered why when ordering parts you never knew what color they would come in.

Personally I was not a fan of the old pararie gold MM's, I always thought the power yellow looked better.

As a yougster I was raised and used those green and yellow tractors, once I started work I was working on MM's and MF's with a few Nuffield's (orange) and "other" brands mixed in.

Today I have the red and flint metallic gray tractors (MF) in my shed. Would love to have a power yellow (MM) but can't afford the current prices for them

Our local sheriffs office JUST switched from the old "brown" to,,,,,,,,,, BLACK uniforms!!

They all look like SWAT members,, maybe that was the idea??
Heck, I basically live in Andy's Mayberry,, we do not need ALL deputies to be SWAT!!

My tractor color has switched from RED to GREENE over the last three tractors,,

No particular reason,, it is just that I ran into three good deals on tractors,,
They were all cheap enough to be purchased as toys,,
Heck, the red one was bought as a toy,, it only cost $5K,,,

I would not have bought the one with the canopy,,,
except, the gubment made me take $$$ out of my 401(k) savings,, I had nothing else to spend it on,,

I gotta admit,, that tractor sure is fun,, all the new bells and whistles,,
If it had a cab, my wife would have thought that I left her!!

There was a guy years ago that painted his Yanmar (older model) green and yellow, and you wouldn't believe the guys who attacked him, saying he is try to scam people into think it was like a JD-790, or whatever the model was. You'd have thought he stole from his grandma
