I am looking at the landscape around your pictures trying to figure out what part of central California. I guess I am central foothills.
Near lake Isabella
Havilah CA

Central foothills is exactly how I’d describe it here

High enough altitude we get snow but enjoyable amounts of it is all. Horse property couple of cows 40 acres in the family here .

Repeat pop test after tightening with wrench. Just testing for pop not spray patterns, gonna get rebuild all three.

I think you are doing an excellent job and are on the right track. Did you do this to rule out the pump?
Swap the one that’s NOT PUMPING to a different line..
THATS to rule out a bad cyl in the pump..

After doing that I would move forward with having the injectors rebuilt. It would be nice to hear that thing run once before going after the rings. There may be other issues you are not aware of yet that tells you it is not worth the effort.

Yes trying to test all necessary components before moving forward based on solid advise. Agreed it would be great to hear it run but even with good injectors rebuilt my compression isn’t high enough it sounds like to make it run..

I’m in the process now of getting injectors rebuilt rather then buying cheap online crap injectors.

I will begin adding atf 1/2 oz or so per cylinder every few days?

What about the acetone recommendation, couldn’t hurt, right?

It doesn’t hurt at all. With the injectors firing and a good hot battery you have a chance it will fire up. If it was a gear transmission and you have a way of pulling it with a good helper, it most likely would fire. If you do get it running, check everything out closely so you know where you stand. Keep a close eye on engine temperature and do not rely totally on gauges. Have a temp gun handy and listen to that engine. Don’t worry too much about excessive smoke. It will smoke like a tar kiln. This because of all the fuel that has accumulated in the exhaust from trying to start it. It can take a while to burn that off.

Injectors should be back in hand rebuilt by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Anything I can do in the mean time?? Besides soaking rings as mentioned

I'd check the valve lash while waiting. Perhaps we won't need to pull-start this one, but do be sure the battery isn't drying out. A new starter for this surely costs less than a new battery. Just don't replace the wrong one first ... and DAMHIK, AKA BTDT this year once already. Doh!

Delays with the injectors being rebuilt and delays with me getting to the valve adjustments. Been SUPER BUSY

Anything else besides check the distilled water in battery?

Should I order a head gasket, head’s gotta come off for sure after injectors attempt right ?
