My wife loves to feed the birds. In the last week every night something is getting all the feed out of her feeder and takes the lid off of her container and spills it everywhere. I am pretty sure it is a coon. It is driving her crazy.

Do you have a big live trap? I had an issue with coons when they discovered the cat food we left out on the porch. We stopped leaving it out all night and only feed them during the day, but then that racoon would show up right after we put the food out and eat all of it. The final solution was to trap the coon and make sure it never came back.

I don’t have a live trap but certainly can get one. I am kinda getting a kick out of watching my wife fight this. There is a company in Kilgore that received a truck load of bird seed it did not order. They tried for months to get the sender to pick it up with no success. They finally got tired of it being in their way and started giving it away. So I got her about 400lbs of bird seed to keep her busy for a while.
