2019 RK24
Hi everyone

I've got a RK24 (2019) and was performing service and repairs. One part I needed to replace was the little silver box where the control stick screws in. The metal leverage tab/pivot broke. I removed the hoses and marked the uncolored ones. Put the new part on and fired it up. Loader works fine, no issues. PTO hitch barely goes up. If I stand on the lift arms and pull the lever back (to raise) they fall under my weight.
All that was done during maintenance:
- Replaced pivot box on control stick
- Changed oil and filter
- Changed fuel filter
- After arms didn't raise, tried to replace hydraulic filter and add fluid

Nothing else was removed or changed.

I have tried turning the flow control under the seat and the little knob on the box under the deck where hoses connect. I took seat off and cover and cleaned out checking for obstruction. Nothing looks broken or feels loose. The hitch lever still springs back to middle as it did before. PTO hitch was working perfectly fine. I had my tiller on. I pulled in the barn, lowered the tiller (didn't drop) and let it sit. Came out the next day, warmed up the tractor to thin oil out a bit, turned it off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Never touching the lever. Pulled engine oil plug and filter to drain.

I tried to find a diagram but nothing. Not sure if I have the hoses backwards or not. tried swapping top two that aren't quick connect.

I did notice adding fluid it moved a little more but I didn't see that much fluid come out and don't want to overfill.

any help would be great, I dead in the water without my PTO right now.

thanks

I would expect that you may have gotten your power beyond and return to tank crossed up.
While activating your loader control to the limit try lifting the 3 point hitch.

thanks for the quick reply. I took the bucket all the way to max on raise and tilt and when I tried to raise the PTO this time it went down. Lowering was the same

Did you put your 3 point into raise and hold it there, while activating your loader.

I didn't, must have misread. I will try that

OK, if I hold the PTO lift lever at lift position and raise the bucket nothing. But if I lower the front loader the PTO hitch raises. Same with tilt, but it moves a little faster. if I hold PTO lift lever at lift and tilt bucket up hitch raises

OK you've got some lines crossed.
Your loader valve should have 7 lines,
a supply from the tractors pump, a power beyond witch should go to the 3 point hitch, a return from the valve to the tractors main housing (the reservoir), and the 4 lines to your loader cylinders.
I believe that you have crossed up the return to tank and the power beyond.
But it could be several lines.

OK I'll take a look. I haven't seen any documents that say to bleed the lines. If I can figure out the lines do I need to bleed them? the loader has been fine. its got full power and doesn't jump or have dead spots

Hydraulics that work are normally self bleeding. Open center systems flow through the system when ever the pump is running.

Well, I just can't seem to figure it out. hoses look right (P, T, C). But I can't find any diagrams that really give good detail. I'm going to go to Rural King tomorrow and look at the 24Hs they have sitting out. Maybe that will help. Could it be low fluid? I put fluid in until it was right level in the middle of the little check window. Ran it for a bit yesterday and the level went down and I don't even see it.
