Yeah, I hear ya, but that’s not the same. Having a garden hose or electrical cord draped with loops onto a walkway in a different fashion every day, is a trip hazard waiting to happen, be it by the residents, neighbors, or delivery people.
You might get lucky and nobody takes a bad fall, or you might not.
Elderly folks wouldn’t like having to traverse that.
If it was my property, I’d change it. I’d be nervous of someone taking a bad fall and getting sued.
Better have good insurance

Although I poking fun, I actually agree with you. Especially WRT delivery people, who can never see their feet while carrying packages. If it were mine, I'd bury conduit under the walkway and have a box or cord hanger on the other side of the walk, if that were to be the daily route of charging.

Short of that, you could rig a boom overhead to dangle a cord from, to be pulled down and plugged into the vehicle when in use. Like a giant pot hanger from an old cooking fireplace... were they called trammels?

A cord or hose across your sidewalk on occasion is fine, but probably not a good idea for daily use.

That false logic, you’ll have to keep arguing.

If you’re paying attention at all, you’ll have noticed, I’ve never commented on the ride, or driver’s driving experience, as I wouldn’t because that requires driving one.
Everything else, from electrical cables, to motors, is just as much in my area of expertise, as yours as an owner.

You demonstrate false expertise. Those who actually have an EV see your error.

Perhaps you have installed a 240V 50A circuit? You would know it is no more difficult than a 120V 15A but for the breaker, wires, and outlet. But somehow the lack of 240V on every parking space is Doom And Gloom For EVs!

Meh. People trip over shadows. I know first hand those who are likely to trip are watching their feet very carefully when they walk.

I don't like crossing my own Tesla Mobile Connector umbilical, but I do. I know it is there and anyone who trips on it is trespassing.

I also keep an orange outdoor rated extension cord running under the garage door to the truck. More trip hazards! Darned ICE needing it's battery kept on a maintainer!
