Ok, i misinterpreted the 50/50 mix statement, i guess it meant 50% fresh gas with sea foam. My brain just floated over to fuelil. Minds been on chain saws. Im cutting up a huge pile of trees the power company had to cut while moving power lines to expand freeway. Ill have firewood for 5 years

I’ve got 2… very compact for the output and one has 50 amp DC boost in addition to AC

I never loan them out because the risk of someone use straight gas is too great

I loaned my chain saw to my brother. I told him about mix gas only. He promptly
reminded me he has used chainsaws longer than ive been alive. After using my jug of mix, he ran straight gas. Siezed engine.

Happens ALL the time… even gas in new Kubota BX with 7 hours… I saw the damage as it was torn down at the dealer…

I’ve always known it’s a big no-no but I’ve never seen/heard of the specific damage, could you elaborate.
Injection pump, piston cylinder damage?

you witnessed the autopsy of an engine that was poisoned in a way.
those poor bearings and rings
hmmm, upon rethinking, expect damage to be in piston area and fuel pump, oil is still pumping

it's almost like you should loan your chain saw out with a can of fuel to go with it
if you expect it to come back in one piece
it's too bad there was never an industry color coding for two cycle gas like there is for gas and diesel

The head was off and the mechanic showed me damage to the cylinder walls.

I asked what happened and he said gasoline.
