I agree, that's an interesting setup you have. Did you build it?

Creative. Good job on the modifications! It is a standard Huskee splitter - goes vertical for big rounds. When I used it with my trailer I wanted to work closer to the trailer so that it was a short lob to throw the splits in. I modified it so that I could easily turn the beam either way on the trailer frame.

Mr. Gordon, with your trailer loaded with splits, does it get worrisome on a side hill? It looks like a high CoG combined with the narrow axels.
This week I had (6) of the larger 330gal IBC totes filled with fresh split "green" maple and cherry that I moved with my forks. Maybe 1/3 of a cord each and it was heavy, slooow going and I kept it low out of tipping concerns.
Visually, in your "train" photo, your trailer looks like it's easily carrying more than twice that with the sides boards you added and it's stacked pretty high!
Looks like the trailer just has a walking beam suspension, so it shouldn't really sag sideways from gravity is my guess. The tractor of course has a tripod setup with the unsprung swivel axle in front so it may be less stable on a side-slope than the trailer?
With a spring suspension, or the pivot on the front axle of a tractor, there's more of a tendency to lean, which exacerbates the tippiness of a narrow vehicle. My thought is that the wagon being relatively solid may be less tippy than the tractor, but that's just conjecture and makes assumptions about the width of the track and CoG...Not sure what you are trying to say. The problem we are talking about is keeping a narrow vehicle, tractor or trailer, with a high center of gravity from tipping over sideways when run on side slope.

Ranch Road….who makes that storage box you have your chainsaw in?
Mr. Gordon, that looks like you got a fair amount of snow.
Would you say the snowfall was like it "used to be", or did you get less this year than historic average for your area?
Ours is way low, and if I recall correctly, Mr. Jstpssng mentioned a low snow fall in his area.
That terrible drought that killed lawns and everything else last fall, seems to still be in effect. This is one of the driest starts to spring I can recall, so far.Ours is way low, and if I recall correctly, Mr. Jstpssng mentioned a low snow fall in his area.
