I just noticed, I think, that the jacket has a hood. That would be a great addition. My current jacket has just a tall collar, and with long arms, long legs, and long neck, it's not tall enough to be effective.

I was not going to participate until I noticed the hood. All I buy are hooded, lined Carhartts. This would sure make a good replacement for my "work" jacket.

Just shows how different we are. The only hooded coat I have, has a zippered hood that I don't remember, using since 2004 when I visited my daughter in Calgary Alberta, in the middle of the winter. I've been gifted two, with permanently attached hoods, and gave both away.

I don't often use a hood, but like them in the winter to keep my neck warm.

Exactly, I only use a hood in extreme cold or snow/rain
