Weavers is 210, Southern Global is 285 for a new starter for my E14. Getting old one rebuilt isnt an option. No local shops do that and the armature windings are a total wreck. Does anything cross referance to this starter that is cheaper? I know that can be done with some Yanmar tractors.

The starter I need right now is not yanmar, it's for our current Hinomoto E14 with the S88 engine. No starter rebuild shops locally anymore

its a manual transmission, I suppose you could if I had someone here to tow me around. A bit hard on the clutch and tires though. There are two sources for a starter. Weavers has it for 210 plus shipping, Southern Global wants $285, but then most of their parts seem high price wise.

Its all just looking at options right now. I took apart the starter off the E14, and its a mess inside, armature winding failure. So its trashed. Have to get a starter before I can take another shot at getting our current tractor started. it was almost running, right at the cuff of running...

Can a normal set of 3pt arms be easly installed if the tiller is removed? I need to be able to do more than just tiller work

What are others opinions on the Yanmar F155 tractors. Seen one, 4wd version with the factory tiller on the rear for sale. How hard is it to fit the tractor with regular 3pt arms with that tiller removed? Runs well in the video he posted in the ad. I like the newer styling over the YM...

Not having live pto, combined with no overruning clutch will make some butt pucker moments if you need to stop quick. Seen that happen myself. Scared the crap out of the guy. Told him how to fix that and he was off to TSC and he was good to go

Gotta love folks using the wrong tool for the job. In this case a lawn tractor to handle what you probably needed a bush hog or the finish mower behind the diesel powered tractor. Atleast to knock it down to where his lawn fawn could manage it. Oh well, guess they get to learn the hard way...
