How to flush / unclog Kubota L3301 fuel system

While working the other week I had my Kubota L3301 died while running. When trying to restart it turned over but would not fire. After letting it sit for a few mins it would restart and have the same issue intermittently. After investing, I found out the fuel line from the tank to the petcock...

Summit Hydraulics Kubota 3rd Function Install

Hey fellow tractor users, I’m back with another DIY video this time installing a Summit hydraulics 3rd function kit to use a grapple on my Kubota L3301. The kit was really easy to install and works great. If anyone has questions let me know!

Backhoe Brake Master Cylinder Replacement and Bleed - Ford New Holland 555E

The issue we were having was the brakes would not build pressure. You could just push the pedal all the way till it stopped on the console. That was because the seals in the master cylinder were old and not capable of building pressure so swapping them out solved the issue. Some people...

Backhoe Brake Master Cylinder Replacement and Bleed - Ford New Holland 555E

I bought them from Cross Creek Tracktor Co. It took quite some time for them to ship it, because of all the delays during ron,a but they had 2 and they both worked great. Part number is: 85805257 I paid $175 per master cylinder.

Backhoe Brake Master Cylinder Replacement and Bleed - Ford New Holland 555E

Hey ya'll I'm back with another DIY farm repair, this time replacing the master cylinders on my 1998 555E backhoe. When we bought it the brakes were okay but a little spongey and after a bit they stopped working. We bought a pair of rebuilt master cylinders online and swapped them out ourselves...

King Kutter 5ft Tiller Gearbox Seal and Bearing Replacement

Hey ya'll I'm back with another DIY farm repair, this time replacing the gearbox seals and bearing on a King Kutter 5ft PTO tiller. One day when I arrived at the farm I noticed a large pool of gear oil under the right hand side of the tiller. I ended up tracing it to coming out the tine shaft...

    Backhoe Swing Cylinder Rebuild

I feel you there. If you see the cover of second video we have a 4ft pipe wrench with a 10ft galvanized pipe as a cheater bar. Then used the tractor bucket as a brace to keep it from rolling off the face. Still didn't pop free so that one went the shop to get opened.

    Backhoe Swing Cylinder Rebuild

Depending on what size machine it is off of that should be do-able if you are handy. In the below video I rebuild a stabilizer cylinder on my backhoe, which is the same concept as a boom cylinder just different removal from the machine. You rebuild them all pretty much the same once they are...

    Backhoe Swing Cylinder Rebuild

Wanted to share this video to help anyone who might be thinking about doing a swing cylinder rebuild on a backhoe themselves. It was an intimidating job that ended up being nowhere near as bad as expected. I am working on my 98 Ford / New Holland 555E in this video, I hope this helps!

Box Scraper  Spacing and pins for clevis style cat 1 lift arm mount

I am currently working out the design for a new 3pt mount on an old frontier box blade I have. The previous owner had chopped and rewelded on the mount before bending it again. I know originally it had the clevis style lower link mounts but I don稚 know the correct spacing width for the lift...

    Bought my first backhoe

Yesterday I bought a 98 Ford555E, I知 getting it shipped to my farm on Friday. It is a pretty tight machine, a few cylinder seals leak a little but no major problems. Hour meter died at 1700hrs, it likely has between 4-5k. Was used by a local company to install sewer drains. Is there anything...

    L3400 PTO possible grind?

I own a 2008 L3400 that I bought recently. The PTO spins great and activates without issue and shuts off no problem. When I have an implement attached the PTO kicks on great, no noises, and runs solid. The odd thing is when I throttle down and push in the clutch I get a grinding noise until I...

Rotary Cutter Help - ID this cutter!

If anyone else reads this post, this is a safety warning right behind the gear box. It uses the word knives instead of blades which someone may recognize.

Rotary Cutter Help - ID this cutter!

So my parents got me a 6ft rotary cutter from their work that wasn't getting any use (laying in an old barn). I figured I would be able to run it behind my Kubota L3400 but after seeing pictures of it I am thinking it is far to heavy duty but the price was right. It also has this odd chain with...

Hello everyone, I just signed up today for TractorByNet but I have been reading posts for a decent amount of time. I just recently bought my second tractor, a L3400HST w/ FEL.
