What to do with disabled friend!

Took disabled friend/neighbor to vote yesterday. Had him, me, wife, and two grandkids in the car. I finished first and went to the parking lot to get the Highlander. Pulled up close to the door and waited for the others who had maybe 100-200 feet to walk. Friend uses a cane and I saw him start...

Peeling apples for drying OR why I now own a Kevlar glove

We used one of those for the applesauce and apple slices. But we had a problem with small pieces of peel left on the apple. So it was easier to use the 'potato peeler'. I said we used it. Need tool to put tubing on nipple

That tool set is over $300. Not what I'm going to pay to repair a sprayer that costs $60 to replace. And I would only need it once every 5-10 years. Looking for something cheaper. Maybe a Harbor Freight one use plastic Chinese special. RSKY

Need tool to put tubing on nipple

I tried that. Got a pan of water boiling then poured into a plastic cup (hose had Roundup in it) and soaked the hose for about five minutes. That is how I managed to get it over the first of three barbs. RSKY
