Yes, this is a bother. I make an effort to pull as far to the road edge as possible, sometimes onto the gravel shoulder so they have plenty of room to safely pass. It still takes a while for them to get the message.

I started off with an L4630 GSTC and loved it but it was aging and I wanted to get into something bigger. Found a used pre-tier 4 M6040 DTC for a great price and snapped it up. The M is a beast compared to the L in all categories. Larger wheels, much higher loader capacity and of course 15 more hp.

Never used QH as I rarely need to switch implements daily. Telescoping arms make most hook ups pretty simple.

While it does make great firewood, the handling is not worth it if you want to sell it and get people to pay what your time is worth. It would likely be easier to sell as smoker wood at higher dollars for smaller amounts.

When I broke the mirror on my old L4630 cab, I did not look for an aftermarket since the factory mirror was less than $40. This was a few years back and like everything else, the price has likely gone up a lot.

My M has similar fuel tank placement, but it is still easier to pump than to lift and pour. Especially with a 23 gallon tank to fill.

Just use an el cheapo HF battery powered pump in the 5 gallon jugs. Sure, it's slow but I am in no hurry.

I have it mounted on my forks and it takes a little finesse to hold smaller logs but on the whole for the money it is great, I have picked up some wicked stones and big logs with no trouble. It does not have grease fittings so either manually apply grease or install zerks

The mounting bar, supplied by the Thumb company, is welded into the backstop straps; my welder friend is an artist. He also reinforced the top of the forks where he attached the mount. That bar is available separately from the company so you can use one thumb on multiple attachments.
