If its not indicating N, it wont start. My DK45 has a switch on the HML range shifter that controls this. If it isnt working and was stuck in neutral, maybe thats why it used to start. Could you start it when it was in say…High range before ?
When i sold my rental house in california (parents old home) it was sold as is. Got good money for it also.
When i sold the rental house in idaho i was asking more than comps in the area, but house had new roof and i replaced all the carpet and hard surface flooring, plus added ac and new...
Growing up in calif, i never saw a basement…only multi story houses. When i built my idaho home, i had to dig down to 5’ to get below frost line….so i built a half buried basement. The basement is always cooler in summer, and not too bad in winter… with heat ducts turned near off.
As i get...
Yes, the compressor clutch as well.
Theres a large orange wire with a yellow stripe, maybe a 10g wire running from fuse box up the column to roof ac unit. About a third way up that column, the large wire was spliced by a super tiny, maybe 20guage orange with yellow stripe wire that went under...
Out here, they do the same. Kick in the old fill, move large rocks, keep filling. After 30 years, believe me there is no trace of any trenching. The areas been plowed, mowed, new trees have grown, etc. it was never level to begin with.
I lived in snake country for many years…..glad i only have garden snakes where i live now…..they dont bother anything.
I hate snakes. I dont miss scorpions, black widows, ticks, fleas, potato bugs or any of the other nasty creatures that used to infest my home.
One of the great things about...
On my 2010 dk45 the ac unit completely died a few weeks ago. Found a burnt out 25 amp fuse in cabin fuse box. Replaced fuse, blew again about an hour later. When this fuse blows, everything in ac/ heat system fails. I took out fuse and found non powered side of fuse grounded out. I raised hood...
Ok…this will be my final test of my water witching abilities. 30 years ago when they built our roads and water system, they ran a 1 or 2” poly line across the street from our house to the 10 acre lot. 6 years ago i purchased that lot. I now want to install a water meter on it as there getting...
All stupid little parts from all mfgs suck. I needed a small micro switch for parking brake switch. Mine hasn worked for awhile, and im afraid wife may operate rig with brake set. Dealer wanted $90 for a lousy microswitch….a $5part .
Even amazon stuck me for $45, but its working again. I do...
Yup. On the john deere products from home depot. Learned first hand there made in mexico and licensed the name. Had issues with One that didnt work . Took it back to HD, They said i have to go to JD for service. JD refused service because it was not a true JD product. Became a screaming match at...
boy, unfamiliar with that exact model, but i know on a few generacs ive serviced over the years, you have to bring engine up to warm enough temps to open the thermostat to allow the trapped fluids to flush. Where it gets tricky is sometimes the thermostat closes and doesnt allow new fluids into...
Honestly, i can rent a tracked stump grinder for$250 per day that would take out these stumps in a days labor. $6900 for one seems like alot unless you plan on doing this again and again for many years.
I have a guy thats going to do 10 of my 24” stumps for $75 each. Worth it for me not having...
Im not sure what you mean by septic beds. If your referring to infiltrator beds, there popular up my way. My system is like the one pictured, its 29 years strong. It was covered using large excavator. We dont drive over it with anything larger than lawn mower.
I live on glacial zone. Rocks work themselves up out of the ground yearly. Its a annual, after thaw, job to go thru horse corrals and pull them out so as not to mess with snow plowing the following winter. They start as small bump and grow everyyear. Finally have to pull out a rock that might be...
Where i live your not allowed to dig septic field with loader. The excessive driving compacts the field. We use excavators only to dig field and to cover the field pipes.
I have partial basement. That is to say 4’ underground rest above ground. Poured concrete. Than 2 coats of thoroughseal (concrete waterproofer used in swimming pools) than 1/4” Bituthane and primer. Covered this with 1” styrofoam to protect from rocks. Installed perk drain field. That was 29...
Wife and i went out to eat, then she wanted to hit costco for 5 items. Full basket later and $285 less in wallet. Im not sure she got the 5 items she needed.
Back in the late 1980’s i worked on a large cattle ranch in montana. One particular hot, humid summer day the foreman suggested we eat lunch in the root cellar. It was probably 20-30° cooler down there. They had everyone sit on boxes stored there among the root vegetables. I asked…whats in the...
Are you sure the loader brackets are all tight? I get clunking if i say…. Harrowing in the field with loader attached. I generally drop the loader when doing field work such as spraying, harrowing, etc.
The main meter panel should have ground and neutrals bonded together on same buss. So your install is fine.
So running the copper ground along with the 3 wires is fine. You just want to make sure the new house subpanel has separate ground busses and an isolated, insulated neutral lug. Keep...
I have a cyclone rake, and its amazing. However it takes abit of room to maneuver. If you have lots of tight spaces and trees, not the best option.
8hp elect start motor, large, heavy plastic impeller. It eats pinecones for breakfast.
a 10 kw generator will provide about 42 amps @ 240 volts of power. Or 84 amps at 120 volts.
But generators like this are generally hooked into a whole house or building operation and operate at 240 volts.
Not sure of your straps, but the ones i had here in usa were Chinese junk. The metal end clamps bent. No way they would hold any real weight in case of an accident.
Im thinking going 60 mph and hitting another vehicle. The weight of tractor x speed…… i dont want to be crushed.
On my own house, due to abundance of trees, i chose a single trench for all utilities. Trench was 36” wide. Water 5’ down to one side of trench. Fill 2 feet rock free soil. Then utility power to other side of trench with twin 1” communication conduits near water area of trench. Then 2 more feet...
I’m Too chicken to use straps…..binder chains or nothing. But maybe its just me.
Ive been hauling tractors and such for 50+ years and never had any issues.
My only thing now is im paranoid about shattering my glass windshield.
For me, its McKinsey River Pizza good old boy (thin crust, double pepperoni, double sliced sausage with extra cheese… best pizza ive ever had. But yours looks yummy. Mail me a piece so i can check it out.
We use a professional locating company to find broken underground pipes for our association water system. They used some machine that “bumped” or pulsated, the water in the pipes and a piece of equipment that could listen and find where the noise stopped, indicating leak zone. Only problem is...
Was walking the dog yesterday on my property….spooked a huge moose that was standing on the trail. The dog had enough sense not to chase the critter……thank goodness.
I never use detectable tape on electrical trenches…..the wires themselves are already detectable.
I use the detectable taps for water lines. Gas requires a yellow coated copper wire in my area.
It doesnt cycle the glow plugs after the start. Theres just an area just before start that will cycle plugs WHILE YOU hold the key it that position only. This is in addition to the timed glow plug cycle
Well, i got the glow plugs swapped out a bit ago, i forgot to update this post. Man, what a difference in starting. Like it was when it was new.
Job was not hard at all. Worst part was removing the hood. Could have used a helper, but no one was available. A few cuts later, all was good.
Two of...
Like copper will ever go down. If its just lights, think solar.
Or run a aluminum wire out to a subpanel. Than copper wire for light circuits. Aluminum subfeeds work just fine. If soil is all sand, direct burial lasts a long time. If its rocky, use conduit or be prepaired to redo it again.
And...
For the code, its very complicated. Covered under article 230. Grounding requirements under article 250.
But basically, back in 2008, they eliminated the ability to feed a subpanel with 3 wires and reestablish a new grounding system. But it grandfathered in old installations (like my house)...
For that long of a run, you will need to upsize the wire that you run due to voltage drop. If it were me, id run a longer primary utility run towards the house instead of a huge secondary wire required for a 260’ run.
At 260’ to maintain a 3% voltage drop you would need to run
400kcml aluminum...
Ok, here goes.
The FIRST panel which includes the meter AND a breaker HAS to have a ground rod or 2 and the ground wire AND the neutral have to be bound together within the panel. In other words the ground and neutral can be located on the same buss, or the neutral buss will have a green screw...
Also, check your local power company. Here, we have to install expansion fittings between the ground and the power box. This allows for expansion and contraction of the pipe in summer or winter. May not be necessary in your neck of the woods.
I also deburr all pvc pipe. Sharp edge will damage...
The only time we arnt required to run a ground with the feeder wires is if the meter was posted away from the house AND there is no panel or shut off device at the meter. This would allow 3 wires run to the house with the house hosting the first disconnecting device. This is only allowed in...
Also, if possible lay out the wires on ground and slip the conduit onto it one stick at a time and run it down wires. Youll hate trying to pull 140’ by hand.
I have a Greenlee wire puller myself, but i doubt anyone rents one of those.
Mine uses a cordless drill to exert 1,000# + pulling strength.
For a 200 amp subfeed you can use either 4/0 4/0 4/0 1/0 Aluminum wires ( some locals allow 4/0 4/0 2/0 2 aluminum for primary feeders) usually xhhw rated in 2 inch conduit or you can use 3/0 copper. If you choose copper, youll need a loan.
Aluminum4/0 is currently $1.22 per foot
3/0 copper...
Man, im especially glad i dont live in a tick area. Used to get them when i lived in calif.
Dont seem to be bothered with them here in N idaho.
I know there here, but not in huge numbers.
Personally, i like the noise when im running the dog thru the trails. It alerts the moose , coyotes and deer of our presence and they take off instead of being spooked and attacking my dog….. which has happened in past while walking on trails. Nothing worse than ambling up a trail and spooking a...
Good to know. I used to get struck with poison ivy years ago….bit have not seen or had it since moving to Idaho.
That and not having flees and ticks on the dogs…and no more rattle snakes or black widows made the move nicer.
Those relays, when they go bad, they randomly simply delay working. Not sure why. Right now, my front windshield wiper switch will light up but wiper wont activate….but if i leave switch on, in a minute or two the wiper starts.
Ya, its the relay. There are a few screws that hold the plastic on.
Kioti uses this same twin relay on alot of different functions on the tractor.
I have issue with intermittent windshield wiper operation on mine now. The same twin relay located in right side support column is acting up. I...
Electrical shorts suck to locate, but can be found with patience. I just found a short in my dk45 ac circuit. The ac stopped working last week while spraying a field. New 25amp blew instantly key was turned on even with ac turned off.
Started at fuse box. Pulled fuse turned on key and found...
How expensive are these things, as compared to say a cyclone rake. I saw one set up like this on a bad boy commercial zt at the dealer. But its a $22,000 lawn mower.
If you have good clearance, you could always add a cyclone rake. I use this instead of the rear bags when the lawn is too wet.
They make many different conversion kits. But those rakes aint cheep.
I do love mine for picking up pine cones and pine needles. Does a great job
My wife purchased one years ago….could never grow anything with it. Gave it to the neighbors.
I think my wife never got the nutrient levels correct.
Hers didnt have a grow light though.
except for my first vehicle in high school, all ive ever owned are pickup trucks. Mind you, back in 1975 a new truck was the more inexpensive vehicle to buy. Now days, they cost more than most luxury cars.
I have 3 vehicles at home. All are pickup trucks.
Edit: i forgot about the 1979 vette i...
No towing laws here. Me, i always try to keep up with traffic if towing the flatbed or box trailer. By i do drive slower when hauling the horse trailer.
I have a camera inside the horse trailer, and i can see the horses actions when turning, etc. it tends to make me more cautious.
Heck, were...
When i first purchased my brand new 1994 dodge diesel my wife was driving it to home depot with me following in my f150 to get supplies. I parked and was walking up to her while she was backing into a parking spot. She decided to wave to me while backing up. She hit a tree and crushed rear...
Ya, here in idaho most people ( usually contractors pulling enclosed box trailers) think they can exceed posted speed limits when pulling trailers. And most forget about the trailers when they decide to pull over into your lane.
The glow plugs suck down 30 amps of juice while operating. Might be hard on the starter to try starting it while there operating. Though just spitballing here.
When i shattered the glass windshield on my kioti tractor a few years back, i could not get a replacement right away due to covid parts supply issues. It being winter and snowing, i decided to try and make my own polycarbonate replacement to get me by. I went to 2 supply houses and the cost of...
The fiber there putting in here has been underground. Ill have to wait and see what they do on my street. But they did ask our association for easement use, so i would assume they are planning underground
I use an additive in winter. Power Service. When the glow plugs were working years ago, i never had any issues starting. Even without any additive. I had a 30 yo dodge diesel, never had any winter start issues. Nearly 400,000 miles too. Guess the cummins diesel had better glow plugs.
The kioti...
On my 870 i just added the power beyond kit and a fender mounted dual valve. Problem is, several years ago JD stoped supplying the power beyond kits. I had a friend try and find one for his 1070. JD said they have not been able to get those for several years.
I thought you could get any jd part...
Installed many 1000’s of those over the years. Like you said lamps lasted long time, not the ballast.
2 years ago i swapped out a state of idaho building into LED non ballast lights. I replaced entire parking lot and exterior building mounted 400 watt wallpacks with LEDS. I pulled aprox 2,500...
Over the years, it seemed like it was getting harder and harder to get a clean (no soot or engine clanging sounds) when starting my tractor when engine was cold. I was running 2 glow plug time sessions which helped, but lately that wasnt enough.
I finally got off my lasy butt and traced down...
Supposed to have been hard carbonate poly….but who really knew. The wife wanted a real glass windshield with electric wiper….thats what i got.
Very happy with it. The company that sold me the windshield didnt have a wiper kit, so i had to make my own. Works great. While i was at it i added top...
I was working in a state of idaho building last summer, and the hallways all have motion sensors. While i was installing new exit and emergency lighting, the hallways were constantly switching on and off whenever a hall walker (employee) opened a door to move to another room. It was like a...
I dont know, ive been listening to my cab tractor for 14 years while operating. I even wear standard over head hearing protector. I can hear it just fine.
I just had my 25 amp ac fuse blow while spraying the pasture 2 days ago. Tried another fuse…boom, that fuse also blew.
14 trouble free years…..
Well, im an electrician by trade. So i tore everything apart and started unhooking all the connections inside the ac unit under cab hood, i tested the...
Ok, i tested the new glow plugs and they all had same ohm rating as expected. After removing the old ones, one of them tested the same as new ones. One had 4x higher ohm reading and the other 2 were completely open. So this thing had been running on 1 glow plug.
After installing them the unit...
Only in office buildings….at least when i was still wiring commercial and residential. But the law did change a few years ago that required a neutral wire run to all switch locations in residential wirings…. In preparation for future occupancy sensor installs.
But those switches tend to shut...
My heat and water heat are gas, but we still used 2117 kwh last month. And no ac in use. I blame the wife. Has tack room heated, running grow lights for her garden starts, had water troughs heated until last month. The amount used this month will be alot less. But having a 4,000 sf house sucks...
Got started on glow plug issue today. It took more time to get the hood off than it took to remove old glow plugs. Kioti doesnt cheap out on the amount of steel used in the hood…..that thing was heavy. Im going to have to call a friend for help reinstalling it.
Used the tip about hot engine and...
My poly windshield got so scratched i could not see thru it. I went with glass replacement. I made my own electric windshield wiper system which did not need to penetrate glass.
Never heard of ceramic paste. Ill look that up. Thank you. I have to wait to tackle this project until after i get done logging the back of my property. Probably will take a month to get to it.
Those buttons more than likely control power to a relay. The relay does the real switching. Relays fail all the time. Need to do some troubleshooting. Just swapping button for toggle wont bypass the relays.
My gate is about 300-400#. Have vinyl fencing.
Used 5x5 x 1/4” tube. I plasma cut the 3 holes and powder coated it white. Looks just like vinyl post.
Made brackets to hold lights also.
Reminds me of the time the wife wanted to save the farm visit cost of a vets visit to check the horses for a health certificate, and askes me to haul all 3 to the vets office. I hit a suicide turkey that launched itself into my f350 grill.
Explosion of feathers. Broken front grill and broken...
They make a tool to push down on the tabs that hold the rails in the posts. Basically 2 flat pieces of steel. This way you can pull out one 8 or 16’ section without having to move all rails.
You can then trim the rail to center it.
Are you trying to add the support for a gate?
I keep 3 sharpened chains with me while cutting. After the 3rd is getting dull, i sharpen all 3 in prep for next cutting. Doesnt take too long. Also, good to blow out all gunk in saw and clean air filters while im at it. This unit brings chains up to like new conditions.
I made the mistake of getting my wife quilting lessons for a Christmas present. Its the gift that keeps on giving.
Shes converted half the basement to quilt room. Long arm machine plus 2 other sewing machines. Took over entire wall cabinet for material storage.
Converted my air hocky table to...
I needed a grapple to help take care of an area logged for new power pines. County logged a 660’ x 15’ section of my back property. Lots of trees and branches to get rid of. I was looking at the 60” grapple thinking i didnt need one as long as my bucket, but ended up with a 72” one as they had...
My Oregon electric sharpener works fast and makes a sharp chain when done. Cant tell the difference from new factory chain. I control the bite, so i barely takes off any metal.
Not sure how it works in your part of the country, but here in N. Idaho the off road and standard #2 diesel flows from same tank. They have an inline dye system to add color during delivery.
I-used to do that when i lived in Montana in the 1980’s.
Todays modern diesel fuels, at least in the pacific northwest, have a winter blend at the pumps. I hold off refueling my storage tank that i use for winter snow plowing until winter blends arrives at the stations.
Ive never had gelling...
We have kerosene, off road, ethanol free, and standard #2 diesel pumps here in N. Idaho , along with standard ethanol blended fuels.
Kerosene is crazy expensive.
My kioti came with a stereo, and the AM band picks up nothing. Never has. I broke the antenna off several years ago, and the FM still works great. But, i never listen to AM much.
Man, ive always wanted an excavator…. That, or a WWII Era tank. The wife has said no to either.
I even offered to convert the tank into a snow plow. She wont go for it.
But really, i would love to get an excavator in the 12,000 # range. Just for root removals would be great.
Another of my...
I also just ran a set of hoses from rear remote up front. I installed a set of parker disconnects between tractor and loader to facilitate loader removal. I also fabricated an extension handle from my rear remote handle to extend alongside loader controls. Very easy to use this setup for snow...
You can also just call a local water/power line locating service in your area. Ive hired a company several times over the years to find location of dead direct buried power lines. They have always located the exact location of the break, even telling me how deep. Their equipment is way more...
Mine is same way. Way back when water was at 5’ deep, than 2 feed of fill, than elect, phone placed at opposite side of water trench. Makes for easy locates. Its how everyone did it back then. Current laws require 5 foot separation minimum. This actually makes more sense if you ever had to...
Ya, ive never had luck getting them to locate owner supplied lines, but my neighbor can sweet talk anybody. They came to his house and located EVERYTHING.
Me , i own my own locater.
Our power company cut down a path of our trees about 650’ x 15’ that would encroach on new power lines. They were nice enough to limb them all up and mulch the limbs. Lots of trees down.
Broke down and purchased a 72” grapple from Kioti. Made my life way easier that the way i usually move the...
the cat loves the dog. could care less. me, i get annoyed when dog sticks snout under my leg and throws my leg out of the way looking for treat. Once she learns something she never forgets. when i do laundry she runs and sits next to washer and dryer. if a clothes item falls, she picks it up and...
ohmed them out. 1 is defiantly bad, another is marginal. other 2 ok.
but ill just replace all 4 while im at it. there 15 years old anyways.
checked relay and the display module is sending the signal for relay to close. the power from the 60 amp fuse is traveling thru to glow plugs. after...
the old time Onan generators were all USA manufactured and assembled. then they sold out to Cummins. After that sale, it became harder and harder to get parts for the older Onans. i had a great cast iron 7KW workhorse Onan that was bullet proof...up until the sale. than parts became real hard to...
just last week our electric utility came onto my property and cut all trees within 15 ft of the power lines. its ok by me, i wouldnt want a tree to fall on lines. they limbed them all up and left the wood on my side of the fence. they took all the branches. i now have 3-4 years of...
I have 20 acres of trees, and my trees or neighbors trees are always falling across fence lines. We each clear our side of the fence. Never been an issue. I usually repair the fence if needed. Its only field fence so not hard to fix.
Its cheep to clear, would never think of contacting insurance...
Be careful what you wish for. My wife thought it would be fun to hide the dogs treats. Now, everytime she comes indoors, the dog is sticking head under cushions, floor mats, even the cat (i hid a treat under the cat once) looking for her treats.
In 2006 it was purchased by some entity…possibly a holding group. And reorganized. New management, new goals, etc.
I forget what percentage of the home standby market it holds..it used to be 90%.
Ive sold and installed kohler, some B&Stratton, and cummins. There all about the same in...
Ive visited the manufacturing facilities. They make their own engines used in the standby units. They make their own rotors and stators. These are all back east. The portable generator engines are mostly made in Vietnam and china. There are a few models made in the USA. Its the home standby, air...
As i said earlier, older generacs used chinese made parts. After generac was purchased by its new owners quite a few years ago, they remade the company. Now they have a company back east that manufactures their rotors and stators. And another company in usa that manufactures the engines. They...
Gee, this is the exact same thing im using. I currently hace 1650 hours on mine. Just did the service last week. Washed and waxed the tractor also. Still looks new
This is a tough call…. My dealer said i should stick with 90 weight gear oil instead of transmission oil. Said it will prevent seal leak better.
I never know whos more correct.
Ive traced a glow plug issue to a bad plug. I desided to replace all 4….. once one goes….
I ordered 4 new ones, but cant find the proper torque requirements, and/or weather i need to use a sealant.
Its for my 2010 DK45HSE
Thanks for any help. I cant find the info in the service manual.
Not so, dayton has manufacturing facilities in usa. Mind you, i dont think dayton makes generators. There big into motors, drill presses, etc. Grainger bought dayton drill press operations in the 1990’s.
Problem is, even if something is made in USA, it will almost always have foreign sourced parts. Just how it has been for a long time. Not every item needed for a product is made in the USA.
Me, i NEVER shop at walmart. Cant stand the place.
some of Generac’s portable generators are made in usa, some in china. Hard to figure out which is which. Some older generac whole house standbys used chinese made rotor and stators which failed alot. This is why generac started making their own. I see very few failures with usa made ones.
My black lab is the same. Knows each of her toys by name. I can ask her to get the black bone and she will pick thru her toy basket and bring me the black bone. I ask her to bring me her dish, she will blast off to the kitchen and return with her dish
When i do a trash run, her job is to bring...
The only problem with really old refers…..they SUCK electricity. And suck it bad. I’ve placed a demand meter on many old units to show their owners why their electrical bills are so high. A new refer takes a fraction of the power to operate.
I just serviced and wash/waxed my 2010 dk45 last Tuesday. It still looks fairly new even with 1650 hours. Thats why i keep it under a lean too. The sun just destroys the paints.
I made the mistake of covering a 2 horse trailer with a custom cover. Once i removed the cover i found lots of mouse nests under cover, all screens in trailer eaten away and the think smelled of mouse pee for a long, long time.
Ac units started to be added to homes in the 1960’s. I know, cause my dad had a house built in calif in 1960’s with ac. House had 100 amp panel with Sylvania breakers as i recall
My friend bought one of these chinese side by sides, had to replace heads one time under warranty…..took something like 6 weeks in shop. The new heads are shot now, and hes shopping for a kawasaki mule.
Holy hell. Still glad i moved out of there 30 years ago. I have a 4000 sf house now here in idaho. I refuse to say what I paid to build it 30 years ago…..but it wasnt much. Mind you i did most of the work myself.
Flat face allow more flow, thats why they are used. But they are a PITA to connect. Thats why i use the attachment tool for past few years.
https://www.branchmanagerusa.com/product/qc-mate-hydraulic-coupler-clamp/
I just use my NOCO Genius10 battery charger that has a 12v supply option. But yours is pretty cool. Those printers are pretty cool. But id add a fuse to protect battery from shorting out
There are a heck of alot of homes with working knob and tube wiring. They are mostly #10 wire that ive found. Way back when they didnt use much amps.
Very much so a fire hazard. For years now most insurance companies wont insure a house with knob and tube….if its found.
Things have changed since the time i was loking at the kubota and the kioti side by sides. Both were super noisy. And at the decibel level that ate my brain.
Ha…reminds me when my wife wanted me to buy an enclosed tractor so i wouldnt be assaulted by the weather while working. Afterwards she wanted a new 5th wheel horse trailer……..
I kinda remember them old boxes when digital signals kicked in….. ut i just junked the old tvs myself. I love the flat screens. My old 19” crt tv weighed like a hundred pounds.
My kawasaki has a 2 cylinder gas, liquid cooled engine with power steering. Its not very noisy at all. I didnt like the diesel side by sides as they were quite loud. I work along side horses in fields.
What..l built my house in 1996. All my Milgard vinyl windows still work, and look, as good as new. I had to replace glazing in 2 windows where lawn mower shot a rock thru….but thats all.
I was once called in for service on a owner built house where bath outlet wasnt working. Opening the outlet up, i found that the house wiring was done with lamp cord…at least at this point. I packed up my tools and left. Im not touching that. I told owner my insurance would not allow me to touch...
Thats weird. My GE Monogram built in 48” refrigerator/freezer was purchased in 1998, still going strong. I had to replace a stand alone GE Freezer 2 years ago. It wad purchased at same time as the refer. The only appliances i seem to go thru are washers and dryers.
My powerpack is ONLY used during winter for snow blower. Do not use a powered cooler. The cold weather cools it nicely. If i used it during summer, i would add a cooler. I use a 20 weight low viscosity hydraulic oil as per manufacturer. All lined are 3/4” with flat face couplers.
I lucked out. My first and only house was the one my wife and i built ourselves on the 30 acres i own in idaho. I built in in 1996, so its turn of the century…..
Ive been in construction a long time before building my own home, and its built very well. Very few issues over the years.
Mind you...
