Milton model S-298 is designed for use on fluid filled tires. You do need to rinse it out with warm water after use or beat juice will set up and make it sticky.

Do a search for gauge for filled tires. The ones I have are spring loaded plunger style so must take reading with gauge on valve stem. Others have a gauge with a piece of hose between gauge and chuck. This keeps the fluid from getting to the gauge.

Beef cattle may eat moldy hay without issues but it can cause problems in dairy cattle if mold is excessive.

Open and spread the bales so they dry and don’t heat or mold. If already heated and moldy they might make fertilizer but never animal feed. We used to throw some salt on the wet bales to help absorb moisture and then feed them to the young stock before they heated or molded.

If engine is losing RPM then HST is still doing its job. If tractor slows down but engine does not loose RPMs then it is clutch or HST or less common but happens a wheel is spinning inside the tire. This is normally noticed more at lower speeds and higher torque requirements

If like my Branson there is a snap ring (item 6 maybe) you remove and the whole assembly slides down. If like my Branson old seal was two piece new is one piece so make sure all of the old seal is off the axle assembly.

Belting seems to keep the grass under the mower better than chains but may also bend the grass down more in front so doesn’t cut as well. Never ran side by side test to see if one option created less dust than the other

Your 3rd function valve should have the work ports blocked in the spring loaded home position so grapple would hold position with valve not energized.

I use a motorcycle lift but downside is that it does not expose the belly of the mower and only lifts around 3 - 3 1/2 feet. Have overhead chain hoist to lift front of riders to get access to mower deck.

I believe TM2023 is the Deere technical service manual for the X485. Deere typically have very detailed wiring diagram and diagnostic instructions. My suggestion is to invest in the manual.

Sounds like you either need to prevent the pump from rotating that much or move the filter whichever is the easiest or possible to do.

Industrial tires may or may not reduce traction in hard ground since lugs on R1 may not penetrate the soil either. I suspect you can pull single shank just not full depth on first pass. For food plot how deep do you need to go?

You also need weight to get traction for pulling a subsoiler I have 24 HP Branson with filled R1 tires estimate weight around 2,100 lbs without loader on and it will spin before running out of power with single subsoiler on a hard pull. It may take two or three passes to get to full 12 - 14...

If is hydrostatic drive put the hi lo range selector in neutral. This will disconnect tranny from engine but will still take some effort to move.

That is normal procedure for PTFE and care must be taken to not overstretch the material during installation.

Stupid question but is one of the rear tires spinning on the rim? Take a piece of chalk or paint marker and mark both tires vs valve stem. Drive around in 2 wd to see if orientation changes on one of the tires. Sounds silly but this does happen.

Appreciate the update One of the coils unloads all three of the pumps. One connects pilot flow to port P51. Other 3 control pilot flow to ports A, B & C. I suspect one of those four is not being energized but also have no clue what powers them nor what each port feeds.

Most hydraulic hose and hose ends are designed to only work with a given brand of hose same with crimper dies. Generic might work but hose and ends are expensive to experiment with.

The valve being fed by port F is two speed. Per schematic it in a manifold that connects to both pumps and then to main valve body. This valve would have a solenoid on it. In studying the schematic further port E feeds the variable speed or rotary lever shown in the operator manual.

ISO 68 will not dissipate heat quicker than 46 but it will not this as much when hot so in theory may not have as much internal leakage on components so may heat up a little slower. Not sure if will be a noticeable difference though.

You just need a good solid connection but down side to removing connector is if clutch fails you would have to cut wires on the new clutch.

In the USA SAE O-ring boss is very common port style and fittings are usually available at any decent hydraulic store.

If you look at the valve schematic and it shows the check valves in the pressure lines. This prevents the load from dropping when you are trying to feather the control and lift very slowly.

In concept that would work but you must also prevent both pilots being pressurized by same signal during normal operation

Yup Load checks are not in the work ports but are in the valve to prevent flow from load back into the pressure lines. Long way of saying they will not prevent cylinders from drifting due to valve leakage. Some special valves do have work port checks but these are common.

Like Tractor tech you should be able to depress it but possible it is stuck slightly so maybe try tapping on it to see if it moves.
