    Hot Bed

Fellow TC owners, Does anyone laugh at the plastic bubblewrap heat shield that Bobcat uses on the bed of the TC to protect it from engine heat...I mean, is is just for demonstration purposes and you are supposed to replace once it melts away (as mine did long ago), or is this piece of plastic...

    Cost of Maintenance

Dear Fellow Toolcat Owners, I am slightly past due for my 50 hr fluid changes and look over by my Bobcat dealer, but it is scheduled. I have a slow hydraulic fluid leak, but as of yet no other issues! (Knock on wood . . . a Pagan I am not, but if it works!) I just wanted to know of what I can...

    Cab Reflections

So far my only complaint regarding my Toolcat is the reflections inside of the cab when it is dark. I would imagine that this is problematic for all cabs as they tend to be rather box-like with non-slanted windows. When reversing, I find it almost mandatory to turn on my reverse work lights...

    Mud!

I had the toolcat out this evening moving some muck out of the barn and dumping in the woods on a trail that I am establishing. This top layer on the trail is a manure/wood shavings/hay mixture so it is soft when dry but slop when saturated. We have had ~12 inches of precipitation in October...

    Recoil starter broken

I prefer to use my recoil starter in my Grizzly, as I find that this is one of the best theft prevention devices known for large ATVs. The difficulty of it pretty much rules out any punk kid from taking it off of my farm or out for a joyride! Anyhow, I was left the other day with the cord...

    New Toolcats on the Horizon?

Mike and Rolando, So, when are you expecting your new arrivals? I hope that you have more seat time on your Toolcats when they're delivered than I have had over the past week (a whooping 1.2 hours). Too many other things going on, but I hope to rectify that this weekend! Steve

Price Check  Used Ford 9N Price Check

I don't know much about older tractotrs, so I wanted to find out the gues-stimated pricing on a 9N. I am unsure of hours or year. Well used condition but operable. Purging Hydraulic Implements

Hello to all, I often find posts here on TBN that the hydraulic fluid in borrowed or rented hydraulically actuated implements can be quite detrimental. Is there any way to purge this old/tainted fluid out before using? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Steve

    Taxes and Bio-diesel...a thought

While I don't think Bio-diesel is used in sufficient enough quantity to justify this, yet, how long until Uncle Sam starts to want to add tax to those using bio-diesel or other alternative, tax-free fuels on our highway and by-ways? Furthermore, if they don't tax these fuels for on-road use...

    Paint Wear on LG Tractors

I wanted to get experienced LG owners opinions on the length of time it takes for your heel to wear thru the paint by your foot throttle/go peddle. Is it normal for it to be worn through the top coat & base coat with bare metal shining thru with less than 25 hours in the saddle?

    Paint wear and Hours

I looked at a tractor today that has a painted platform deck without a rubber floor. Where the heel of the right foot goes, the paint was worn off to bare metal. I wanted people's opinions if that is normal for just 24.X hours on the meter? Something just does't add up IMO.
