    F725 fuel pump

I replaced the fuel pump, mowed yard for about a half hour and it sputtered and died, it started back up mowed for another half hour, the same thing. Started back up and once it started sputtering I put it up to full choke and it ran fine. Attached is a picture of the fuel filter that hardly has...

    F725 fuel pump

It is installed correctly. It is a Stens aftermarket pump. There are no spacers, just a gasket. It just drips a little after shutting off. I emailed Stens and they said it could be a defective pump. I ordered it on Amazon and they are sending a replacement.

    F725 fuel pump

I just installed the new pump. It runs great. Instead of a weep hole there is a tube that comes out of the bottom. It runs great, no spraying fuel. But when I turn it off, fuel drips out of the tube.

    Diesel mixed with gas

A friend of mine spent 2 weeks in the burn unit after using gas to start a brush fire on a windless day. The fumes "puddled" on the ground and when he lit a match 20+ feet away, whoosh. He called me after calling 911. I beat the ambulance to his house, skin hanging off his arms and legs.

    F725 fuel pump

Luckily there is a guard that keeps the gas spraying on the muffler. I bought a Stens fuel pump for $100 less than a JD fuel pump.

    F725 fuel pump

I have a F725 with a Kawasaki FD590V engine. I started it up today after sitting all winter and had fuel spraying out the weep hole in the fuel pump. What would cause this? Is there a fix or do I buy a new fuel pump. I googled the pump and prices are anywhere from mid $20's all the way up to $165.

The one thing that you wonder why you didn't buy sooner?

Bought a Kobata with FEL 18 years ago just for the FEL. Never used the mower deck, finally sold it after it sat around for 15 years. Also using the 3pt with a ball to move trailers around, not having to get off the tractor to grab the trailer. Also, all my battery powered tools.

    Rotted barn posts

Would it be worth taking 2" angle iron, bolting it to the post and use tapcons into the concrete floor to keep it from possibly shifting in the future? Also, 4 1/2" diamond cutting wheel on the angle grinder cut thru the siding like butter. Wish I would have had one of those years ago when I...

    Rotted barn posts

I dug the old post out that was incased in concrete. There is a round concrete "cookie" at the bottom of the hole. Can I just set the new post on top of that cookie and backfill with crushed stone or should I pour concrete around it also? I am on a budget since I have been recently unemployed...

    Rotted barn posts

It is a pain getting the nails pulled. I'm marking up the siding just trying to get the claw under the nails. I was planning on just fixing the 1 post. Then when I went to remove the horizontal boards the next post is rotted, not as bad though. So I am assuming this is going to be a ongoing...

    Rotted barn posts

How will this work going across the ridges in the siding? I was thinking of using my angle grinder with a 4" cutting wheel and cutting it that way.

    Rotted barn posts

I have an older metal outbuilding. The 6"X6" posts were set in concrete and I'm sure most are rotting. The one by my entrance door has rotted completely thru and shifted about 1+ inch. The inside of the barn is all concrete with part of it finished and the post are covered up. I dug the one by...

Box Scraper  Box scraper for Kubota B6200

I was thinking of getting a box scraper for my Kubota B6200. From what I have read a 5' would be too big. I am looking for a 4' and found one on facebook marketplace near me. A 4' Countyline for $800, almost looks new. I googled them and it looks like TSC sold them except they only have 5' and...

    Small trencher

It's not a big area. I plan on getting topsoil and fill in. It has always soaked in in the past but the past year it holds water. It doesn't help that I have septic/leach field issues and a tile that drains in that area sometimes. The plan is to get all that fixed this spring. I just need to get...

    Small trencher

I have a area in my backyard that has had standing water in it all winter. I need to dig a small trench to drain it. Any ideas on something on a 3 point hitch or attaching to the FEL to do this? I have a Kubota B6200. Thanks for any advise.

This was getting tossed out at work. Says "Toro" on the head with 433 on one side and 250 on the other. C100 on the stem. I couldn't find anything online except for the stem. It appears the stem takes a coupler and it is part of a irrigation system? It just looked like it might be worth...

    New Stihl?

The 029 still runs fine. I'll take a look at the 261 again. As I get older, heavier isn't the way I want to go. Maybe the 261 with a 18" bar and stay away from the big stuff. I plan on keeping the 029 as a backup.
  29. D

    New Stihl?

I looked at the 261. The dealer said I would be stepping down in power from my 029 and the 291 might be a little more due to the 029 being 27 years old. I don't cut that much, just in the fall and winter. The 029 has been a good saw, just getting tired if not having the power for the bigger...

    New Stihl?

How will the 261 compare to my 029 and the 291 power wise? I plan on putting a 20" bar on whatever I get. I was looking for something with a little more power than my 029. I do like the weight of the 261, especially compared to the 311

    Simplicity or Cub Cadet

Thanks for the replies, I'm still thinking about the 3206, although the dealer has it listed as a 2005, from what I have read they were only made in 2001, 2002?
