I like how compact it is and can easily load it in the back of my truck. It's a fun little machine to cruise around on. Paid $300 for it and don't regret it one bit. Have no plans on getting rid of it.

Shows right over 1000 but I believe it can be reset with the dial on the side of the odometer.

Yup and I don't think the machine is worth that much once it's up and running.

I got it broken free already a couple of days ago. Only thing that will fix it now is pretty much a engine rebuild at worst or piston/jug kit at best.

I totaly get this and feel the same but my main issue is time and space for the machine. At the moment I have the garage space but that's only due to my car being in the body shop. Once I get it back I have nowhere to keep the machine where I can work on it.

Yeah this one has the screen. Most of the small pieces came out before removing the screen. With the screen removed to reached my finger in and found the piece of ring. Not sure what I plan on doing with it.

Well I found some bad stuff when I drained the oil today. All this came out.

Well I gave it another go. I couldn’t move it with just the ratchet and socket so stuck a breaker bar in there and gave it a few taps in both directions with a mallet and it broke loose. I can now spin it over. Should I fill the cylinder with some PB blaster and let it sit for a couple of days...

I might try removing the head if I can't get it free after a couple of weeks. Just limited on space and time at the moment.

This is something I'm thinking as well. Maybe it locked up when he tried starting it and that's why the solenoid was making a clicking sound.

I decided to replace the filter and fluid and all seems good now. No more crazy sound and the tires turn normal now. I’m guessing the filter was bad from never being replaced and not really putting the tractor to use as much. Oil and filter change is next. Thank you all for the help and advice.

Thanks. I came out to the garage to check some things. Main thing I notice is that whenever the steering gives me issues it makes a noise, kind of like a loud higher pitched humming sound. It also does it every time I raise the 5ft brush hog. Won’t do it when I lower it. Sounds like it’s coming...

Is there a way to bleed out the system? Wondering if there might be air somewhere in there. Seems like the only place to check for hydraulic fluid is on the dip stick.

Was looking at some diagrams on messicks site. Can anyone confirm if part #17 on the diagram has a fill cap to check for fluid? I wasn't aware of it till I looked online. Going to check the tractor later today when I get home. I'm wondering if that can be low for some reason.

Thanks, I'll definitely change out the fluid. I pulled the dip stick and the fluid that is in there still looks new but guess from years of being in there it will still accumulate moisture and gunk huh. I have the non HST so only one filter #4.

Any idea where about the sensor would be located on the air box?

I have the warning light on my T1510 tractor. I know it has to do with the air filter and I replaced it but the light did not turn off. Tried disconnecting the battery for a day and no help. Is there some sort of reset or am I missing something here? Any help would be much appreciated.

The only fluid levels to check are the oil and fuel. The hydrostatic trans on these machines are supposedly sealed systems. There really isn't any grease fitting other than on the wheels. I'm going to give it a real good look over this weekend and address anything that I find.

I think this is what I have #4. Hydraulic oil filter.

I looked everywhere on this T1510 and all I found was the filter that’s under the seat behind the right rear tire and the oil filter on the right side of the engine. Took some pics.

Thanks, and yes both filters did get changed. Will definitely check the small electric fuel lift pump but if any of these were the issue why would it run for a good 45 mins under load then start to have issues?
