I need a new lawn mower!

I am a big and tall shopper as well. I mowed for years with a Bad Boy zt elite with a kawasaki engine. Last year I bought a new Maverick HD. This new Maverick HD has a big block commercial Kawasaki and 4 wheel "suspension ". It is an awesome machine. The biggest difference is the new mower is...

Mahindra Losing Power - Continued - Solved

Try removing the fuel line from the tank to the bowl to check for free flow of fuel. My 3616 acted very similar to what you describe, I removed the line and used compressed air to blow back into the tank. There are bugs and bug parts in my tank as well as what looks like flash from the plastic...

What's your favorite Air Fryer Recipe?

Also fresh brats or Italian sausages. The juices mostly stay in the casing and don't tend to piss out much. Best tube steaks ever. Also try a meatloaf. Good stuff .

What's your favorite Air Fryer Recipe?

Second on frozen burritos. I do the burritos in air fryer on the grate for 12 minutes at 350. Then put them in aluminum steam tray, add green/red sauce on with cheese, diced tomatoes, and peppers. Then back in on toast mode til cheese is bubbly and browning.

    3616 hst start sequence issue

Well I fixed the issue. I posted while I was still in freak out mode. There are 4 blue relays that live behind the shuttle shift blocking plug. I switched them around and it solved my clutch/starter issue and moved issues to the headlight circuit. I remembered I had a couple spare relays from a...

Got on the tractor today, 3616 hst, push in clutch and it starts cranking. The key isn't even on yet. Ok,let off clutch, turn key on for glow plug cycle, push in clutch, and it starts cranking. So then I turned the key and it started. The starter is getting the order to crank whenever the clutch...

    Mahindra 3616 Hydraulic Controls

I did. I built a clamp on armrest for the ROPS and extended the loader valve handle. I can now open the valve very smoothly and can control fine movement using two fingers. I think the armrest is critical because you are now making movements with your wrist rather than your shoulder. Sent from...

    Kubota or 154 loboy

I owned a 154 lobby for 20 years and upgraded to a Mahindra 3616 with loader and 72" mower. I should have done that upgrade 21 years sooner. I became terribly fond of my lo boy, despite his shortcomings and loved him til the end. But really.....there is no comparison. Sent from my SM-A125U...

    wont crank

There are tons of threads on here about fixing this issue on all of the various brands. Adding the relay is a cheap, effective, and really easy way to fix this. I have done it with pretty much all brands and mahindraa are really known for it. Search this forum, and you will find Mahindra...

Pulling a dead bearing off a Peruzzo flail mower roller

Yes. Cut the inner and whack to crack. Weld a bead on the outer....falls out. Fine Emory on the journal. Probably will need to warm the new bearing to install it on the shaft. In my life I've had to replace very large and expensive bearings on huge machines. Heat is your friend. Some things are...

    Don’t buy mahindra

2014 3616 HST. Bought new. 900 hours now. Yes, we have had a couple small issues in 7 years. Biggest being pto clutch crapped out and had to split it, about 4 months after warranty was up. But I have done some hard work and even some abusive type tasks and have never broken anything on this...

    Mowing 3215 Belly Mower

I have a 3616 and bought it new with the 72" belly mower. I have not been happy with the mower. It mows wonderfully, but offers terrible ground clearance for any other tractor duties. I've made modifications to my mower mounting system to help, but not much improvement. Actually bought a bad boy...

Best uses for chlorinated brake cleaners

Very important....if using brake cleaners to clean parts for welding....make sure that all cleaner has evaporated before welding. Welding over wet brake cleaner creates phosgene gas and will cause serious health issues or death.

    Mahindra 3616 air in fuel

I also have a 3616. This weekend, I lost power and tractor would surge. Nursed it to the barn and found filter bowl fluctuating in level. Cleaned filter, and when I turned it back on, no fuel entered. So I removed the fuel line and no fuel came out. I used compressed air in the line back to the...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

I did. Nothing physically broken, the micro spring rings that contain locking rollers were wadded up. Will try to get pics up this afternoon. Sealed bearings on both sides of the clutch unit, nothing got in or out of this guy. Just an internal failure of the on way bearing.

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

New pto clutch (one way bearing only) arrived today. Assembled and installed. Tomorrow we get the old gal remarried between HST section and transmission end. Part was awful salty, especially since I dont know why it failed. But shoutout to H.G. VIOLET of Delphos, Ohio for getting the clutch...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

The inside section spins absolutely free in both directions. The outer section could be seen spinning under power through the oil fill hole, but there is no transmission of power through the clutch to the pto intermediate shaft. (Other than the fluid film drive I described in an earlier post). I...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

Her it is... the one way clutch unit free spins internally. No resistance at all. This pto has only been used around 10hrs of the 700 on this tractor. And has only ran a 5' tiller each spring and fall. No oversized attachment. There is no visible breakage visible.

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

I have a digital copy of the service manual..must admit I've seen far more detailed manuals. The hydraulic oil is changed at regular service intervals and this case and gears are all pristine. When I freely spin the pto shaft I can see through the fill hole that there is no rotation at the one...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

Update. Began by removing pto assembly from rear of tractor. Everything is perfect. Discovered the splines shaft inside the tractor spins freely in both directions.....bad deal. Mahindra 3616 pto not working

When engaged, it rotates at about 35 rpm and can be stopped with hand strength. I'm leaning toward the shaft coupling. It feels like it's being driven by oil film at the shaft ends if that makes sense.will check mid pto to see if it rotates at all. We use the tractor almost daily and I just hate...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

You actually sent me the service manual. Thanks for that. Everything else works fine in the hydraulic system. I've been reviewing the manual for some time now and I guess the only way to really diagnose it is to go in from the top. It looks like the pto drive shaft is coupled at each casting...

    Mahindra 3616 pto not working

My 3616 pto has stopped working. One day was fine....next time I go to use it...just barley rotates. With the tractor off, turns freely disengaged, and when engaged I can feel the gears turning. Also affects the mid pto. The 3616 HST is a mechanical pto with no solenoid to be the culprit. Any...

I'm working on my neighbors TC33D. Its a 2001 or so. The hydraulics at the FEL have gradually gotten weaker. Now its blowing the hoses at the cooler unit by the radiator.
