LS LB1100 backhoe control valve issue

I found a fix to this. You'll need to order the part in my pictures along with possibly a new bolt for the standard thread and not metric. My original threaded in no problem Anyway here we go... Here is the part you'll need. Next you'll need to grind off the peened end of the threaded stud...

    Righty loosey

Looks like there is a lot more thread deeper in the hole. I got a longer bolt and added a couple washers. Tightened it up to 100 ft.lbs. without issues but don't think i want to go to the 150. Any thoughts on going to the 150 ft. Lbs.? I dont think it is needed with the loctite.

    Righty loosey

Well it isn't broken off just no threads left in the casting of the tractor for the bolt to engage. I need to see if the bolt hole is deeper and maybe I can get away with a longer bolt. Really sucks as I don't have many hours on the tractor.

    Righty loosey

So I just came up on my 200 hour service and I start looking things over checking bolt tightness and other things. I noticed my rear backhoe subframe bolts look loose. I figure no big deal as I haven't had the hoe on in a while. I grab my torque wrench and set it to 60lbs. first working up to...

    waiting out the storm (virus)

Not the prettiest thing but should work well. Made this cultivator in my spare time. I'm hoping to get the tines cut. I can't decide if drilling in the spring steel would be better (easier) or cutting off the tip of the tine. I don't have torch tanks so it would be sawzall or cut off wheel.

    Be careful of LS "Financing"

So the wife and I signed on the line in January. The tractor has been great but not so much the finance company. When you get the "financing" it is a contract not a loan so when you want to pay down the principle they just apply it to your payments. So in reality you are still paying all of the...

    LS HP numbers

So I was looking over the tractor after washing to see how much I missed and noticed the engine tag read >38 HP. So It got me thinking if that badge is correct wouldn't that mean the engine is over 38hp? It is the MT235e which I thought was the XG 3135 just a few things tweaked. Does that mean...

    Shear bolt my rear

I bought a used 5' howse rotary mower. It had a shear pin style pto. Well the previous owner broke the pto guessing either hit something or the shaft wasn't working right. Whatever the issue he snapped it. This is where my problems started. I removed the shear pin and tried to slide the shaft...

Backhoe Backhoes--who has one? Would you buy again?

This small trench was to divert water away from the back of the house and down our hill. I would say this is roughly 200 yards long took about 2 hours including cutting out trees and pushing others over. Yes it was tight but wasn't horrible after I took the lower branches off the pines off with...

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Did some trenching yesterday for a few hours. Got most of the surface run off center away from the house.

    First codes

So I was running the backhoe today digging out some drainage and had a couple codes pop up and the yellow triangle with exclamation mark. The codes flashed quick and were off after 5 or 6 blinks. I was just about to raise the rpm before they flashed and once the rpm came up they disappeared. I...

    Fuel consumption guesstimate

When you guys are running your tractors what are you averaging for fuel consumption? I'm ran the tractor until the light came on and filled it. I'm not sure how many gallons it took but that was about 14 hours of operating on that tank. I have been running right around 1500-1800 RPM. I have been...

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Made the new tractor earn its keep Saturday, pushed all the logs in the photo up onto the burn pile. Next will be the removal of the stumps. I am really impressed with the power this thing has and how much traction it maintains while in sloppy conditions.

Do I really need a grapple?

So I was all set that I wanted a grapple. I have been looking around and figured a root grapple is what I wanted and there wasn't much changing my mind. I got looking at different grapple design then different use grapples, ect. Then came the prices, I was blown away with what I found, there...

    To all mt235e owners

So I was looking over the tractor and noticed that the one hard plumbed line just above the filter was pressing on it. Is anyone else having the same problem? I mean it isn't a problem yet but I have to believe the 2 are rubbing and vibrating against each other meaning a hole might develop most...

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Another day pushing brush and digging out an old stump. Used the ATV to give a little size to the hole I had to dig. That backhoe takes a little getting used to but really gets the job done.

So does anyone know where I could get another switch? I wanted to add a few auxiliary lights but didn't want to tie into the factory harness. Also can anyone tell me what the switch to the far right does?

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Photo of the brush I've been pushing for the last couple days. Doesn't look like much but this slushy snow has been hindering my progress. I am hoping to get some of it burned in the next month or so.

    Well it's here!

Now I just need to start working her. Pushed some brush, messed around with the backhoe, and gave my boys a ride. Really looking forward to cleaning up my property.

    Need more garage space!

Well my new MT235e should be getting delivered today or tomorrow. With that came cleaning of our garage, we moved into this house 3 years ago in April I had to move my 2 car garage and 10x12 shed into my new 20x30 2 car garage. Well space has been tight and I haven't organized a thing due to all...

    Filter changes

Looking to get a couple filters on hand before it is needed. I have an Mt235e with the 3 cylinder L3C19-D2 looking for the oil filter and transmission filter numbers for Fram, K&N, or Wix doesn't really matter because I can cross reference from any of them. I searched the filters thread but came...

Well either today or tomorrow I will be signing my name on the line for a new MT235e TLB package. Any LS promotions right now?

Anyone know if there are any promos? The dealer mentioned a free loader but wondering if LS is offering any 0% financing as well. I know this around this time last year they had both. Any word when/if it would be coming back out?

Total length of MT235e with loader and backhoe

I saw the tractor is 121" without the loader but wanted to know what the total length is with loader and what is the total length with loader and backhoe. Anyone know these measurements? I am looking at converting a camper frame to a firewood hauler and was going to add 1' to the back so the...

Hill type 40 acres tractor and backhoe?

Just so I have the right idea of what I want to accomplish and if a tractor and backhoe would do the job specifically the XG3025/MT225 (25hp tractor on a 35hp frame). This tractor is similar to the Kuboat L2501 and John Deere 3025e actually a little higher on the capacity side of things. The...

Good deal on used XG3032 Gear?

Locally they have a 2015 LS XG3032 with 467 hours for $11,900. Everything looks in good shape with very little wear on the bucket and tires look to have about 3/4" tread left. Is there any issues with the limp bucket in those models or any issues in general. I am really considering this VS a new...

Help me decide on the LS I need.

Sorry guys for another one of these threads. I thought that the smaller HP LS XG3025 shuttle shift was going to be the perfect tractor for me. After driving my FIL's JD 3032e around and working our garden with a 3 point tiller I found the JD bogging down when it got into muddier end of the...

Would you go through the effort?

So I have narrowed down my choices to TYM and LS leaning heavily towards LS XG3025 but some issues have me concerned (Regen, and bucket issues). It seems that the XG series isn't plagued by the bucket issue but the Regen Limp mode is a little concerning. Anyway, I found a great deal for a...
