Replacing Driveway Culvert with the Kioti CX2510

Nice. If I have one upgrade suggestion before you start buying rear implements: Pats Easy Change hitch. They can stay on when taking backhoe on/off, and you don't need to pull the whole frame like a (for ex) Speedco quick hitch. Mention it now because PTO shafts will need to be a little longer...

Diagnosing squealing hyd on CX2510 TLB

Update: the noise eventually returns regardless of remote A or B position. Moving to center/disabling remotes immediately stops the noise. Took some temp readings today. Note that the temp in the upper left is simply the temp at the crosshair (+). The top of the scale (on the right) indicates...

Diagnosing squealing hyd on CX2510 TLB

Hey folks - I'll try to make this as succinct as possible. Did my 50hr service a few weeks ago, it's been 90% loader+tiller (w/hyd toplink) work since getting the CX in Feb. Installed the backhoe last week in anticipation of some trenching. Cycled all the cylinders, re-checked hyd fluid, all...

CX2510 Cab R14 Goodyear - What tire pressures?

It is called out in the owner's manual, but all I have immediate access to is the service manual (below) and only for the open-station model. Technically these are for Ag/Turf/Ind tires - they don't explicitly call out R14s. Also if it's not noted in the tire section of the owner's manual, look...

CX2510 HST Overly Sensitive Joystick Valve

You'll be grateful one day for the faster hydraulics. In the meantime use that big up/down lever to the right of the steering wheel to slow things down. ;) (edit: oh I see you said even at idle. Tough to gauge someone's sensitivity level over the internet. If your dealer is nearby I'd stop by...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Niice. I think I read they also include standard now a 3rd function *knob* on the loader control.... but don't include the rest of the solenoids/hydraulics. Point is, hopefully you have a set of ports in the rear associated with that C/D control!

    BH bucket teeth hardware replacement

Thought someone may find this bolt info useful in the future. Links to McMaster PNs below. On two separate machines, brand new, half the bucket tooth hardware was destroyed (cross threaded) on removal. Combination of cheap hardware, black oxide finish (which gets compromised almost immediately...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

A loader valve to control top+tilt would be very slick! If that's what you're proposing.

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

If that is indeed the only option, and it's not a power beyond port, then yes it works fine for my needs in this manner. I'd be surprised if you couldn't specify the rear remote actuation type on a CK though? Might want to ask around some more. Maybe just not something they've done...

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

This will come in very handy when I get around to extending it, thank you!!

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

I gave it a thought - I'm sure it's the same remote piloted assembly beneith (so would thread in). But I'd need to measure one in person to see where the knob would/could sit (you could rotate the position of course). Cab has the remote assembly at a different angle so I think it may land in an...

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

As you may have noticed, the cab model has it substantially higher. Perhaps lessons learned. Anyway at this point I just need to quit complaining/shut up and make a new one. :)

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

Ah good eye, thanks for chiming in! I've learned to "live" with it for now, but when reversing and lowering/curling the loader I'm pushing that knob into the underside/backside of my knee. Ergonomics are terrible, but like everything else it'll have to wait. I did see exactly what I needed to...

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

It's looking that way. I need to wait to get some steel rod to possibly fashion up a new lever. I saw at least one CK owner on here did the same, shouldn't be too bad. I think instead of trying to remove the knob (without destroying it) I'll just toss on that ergonomic Kioti knob instead (and...

    New CX2510!

I was surprised (annoyed) to find this also. The smaller CS is retractable as is the CK2610. I half wonder if they would bolt on... Anyway I was really confused by your photos and your mounting of the Wesco, because I have a bracket that comes up above the bottom cushion, so mine would end up...

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

I'm about 6' and have to have my suspension seat raised all the way on my CX. As such the loader valve control arm is about 4-6" shy of where I naturally grab for it. Does the knob just twist off, or are they a friction fit? No set screw that I could see. Gave it a good twist, but because I...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

I finished my toplink and thought I'd just follow up with some info that may be helpful to others in the future. The cylinder I chose is a 20-7/8" to 31-7/8" from Agri-Supply. I am running Pat's Easy Connect (add's 4") so not only did I need a little extra base length, I also wanted some extra...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Not saying it's good but based on the circuit above this would simply go up against the main relief, correct? Same as holding the loader valve in full extent. I actually made this mistake for the first time today when taking the backhoe off - I was readying to pull away after removing the BH...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Nice. Are you using a cylinder with piloted checks, or just a straight cylinder?

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Thanks for confirming. I see Summit hydraulics has some kits specific to CK/CX that open up some options as well. I called and they said if it's model specific that means they've actually borrowed a tractor to measure line lengths etc which is nice.

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Just came across this, which I guess confirms it will return to tank, and that flow is blocked to three point unless it is centered. I suppose if backhoe is being operated they don't want it being actuated (since three point arms stay attached). I'm actually not 100% sure if it springs to...

Using backhoe ports for toplink on CK/CX

Hey all - I don't have much hydraulic experience and am a bit confused about what exactly is on my tractor and my options. It's a CX2510 with backhoe. There are two ports on the rear. To operate the backhoe I move the fender lever to "A". There is a B position, as well as center. It is not...

    Kioti Workshop Manuals

Couldn't seem to find these - can you elaborate where? Found various version of the owner's manual at the demss.co.kr link, but no workshop manuals. Thanks!
