how well do you think the temperature feature works? Mine are just sitting on the valve stems so I assume they are measuring ambient air temp more than wheel temp. I notice the "sun side" of the RV is usually 5ish or so degrees warmer than the "shade side".

Well, I finally had an hour to sit down and troubleshoot the mower. Very odd (in my opinion) I replaced the cable that broke - that was easier than I thought. I verified I could shift through all the gears with it. Still would not start (not surprised) Next, I bypassed the neutral safety...

Excellent product for repairing shovel handles etc.

    Roof Beam replacement.

OK - we did the repair and lived to tell the tale. First we jacked up the broken end of the chord so we could removed the split support on the wall post with a new 2x6 that ran from the chord to the floor. In hindsight we should have used a 2x8 so it would have also supported the two sister's...

    Roof Beam replacement.

Actually I do have a photo of what I was describing from the first visit. You can see the 2x6 I mentioned below the chord. It has split where it was nailed to the wall post (old nails in the two blue circles) allowing the chord to shift down. I said above we would be replacing it with a 6x6...

I will try to get a photo (since it is not my place, I can't just saunter out and get one!) At this point, I concur with everyone, we don't want to remove any of the old truss and that is not in our plans. Just re-enforce it and sister it together - adding two more 2x10's to the cord, and...

Appreciate the thoughts. Has me rethinking some things. Here is a photo of the full truss. the 6x6 to the left of center is just sitting there as a temporary brace. The "tree" just right of center was put there by the prior owner as a safety... I will have to go over and look to see if...

For fall protection in while following a line over dicey terrain (as opposed to vertical climbing) we often just attach ourselves to a rope with a loop of cord using a prussic knot.
