Fencing question: Wood posts vs Metal t-posts

I won't comment on wood posts as when we put in our horse fencing (now with Cattle in some of the paddocks), we went with 3-rail PVC from Gardner Fence. It has worked fabulously for us - here in MN. We have about 4500 ft of it with 10 gates. we do run electric in the pastures - which does a...

I live on acreage - trees aren’t that plentiful, so I don’t get overwhelmed…. However, there are still enough to be a pain - so the mulch kit is a real wonder! I use a blower to push anything in the landscaping into the grass and then boom, they go bye bye. ;) I would alway recommend one of...

I have about 2800 on my 4600. The cost to take apart the axle unit, replace seals and bearings, etc., was about $1400 at the dealer. My daughter’s boyfriend (a implement dealer mechanic) took the axle unit off and delivered it to the dealer for the service. I know it would have been more...

Front MFWD - JD4600 - Leaking axle seals

I picked up the repaired front end axle on late Friday afternoon. They replaced all the seals, checked the axle shafts, etc., and replaced the fluid. It took about 6 hours and several extra days as they had to wait for parts to come in. It is now installed and running very well! Just in time...
