If your ignition switch has a connector labeled as any in the attached it may help for testing. NAPA sells a much more beefy switch. I replaced my TC33D OEM switch which had melted with a NAPA and have not had any problem since 15+ years now.

Interesting, searching online for my 1736 and your 1754 I find the following page which shows a picture of the assembly with the red ring, the picture is upside down for how the part is mounted on the tractor:

On my 1736 there is a separator with a red ring that will float on top of the water then the fuel filter, both have filters in them and drain valves in the bottom of their housings. There is a metal shroud around them that is not shown in these pictures.

Have you had a chance to to look at my first attachment in post #7, its a pretty good wiring schematic? All on one page unlike the operation manual where it is spread out over several pages.

Do you have a wiring schematic? If I'm not mistaken looking at the attached schematic, it would appear the flashers should work without turning the key. Almost sounds like a mouse has chewed some of your wires.

I would have to say with absolutely no power to the dash when turning your key to the on position that I'd be looking at your ignition switch. Do your headlights work? A normal 12 Volt battery would read 12.8 volts at best. Is the 15.7 volts you are reading with a charger connected?

You will also have a better chance of seeing the ends/tips of the 48" ones if something like your hood or fork back rest is blocking your view. It is more difficult to see the tips of shorter forks.

Yes, I would assume also that the wires you are removing from the solenoid are the ones sending the signal to shutoff your tractor.

Post number 10 seems to indicate you need to remove the wires going to the fuel solenoid. I would perform this this modification next:

Can you tap the starter while it is spinning, maybe it just needs some encouragement. In the end if that works you'll still want to have it looked at, maybe it can be rebuilt?

Are you sure there are no burs or rust/gunk as the tolerances can sometimes be very small between the splines?

If you don't find anything by checking the connections, these documents might give you further insight.

You glove solution may work, but anything that is durable is what you need to take up the gap, maybe some thick plastic. If the gloves don't last try something else and I'm sure you will eventually find something.

I would have thought there would be some "safety switches" in the circuit for the starter relay to be energized like the tractor being in neutral, the PTO not engaged, parking brake on, seat switch being made like someone is sitting it......

I'd say then you would want to inspect any of the wiring from that fuse to the starter as something is allowing a 30amp draw to blow that fuse. If all the wiring checks out then I'd suspect something with the starter or its solenoid.

When you say "the starter fuse blows" are you referring to it's 30amp fuse, see attached? If not let us know which fuse it is along with it's amperage rating.

I would hope whoever you purchased the re-manufactured pump from could send you a procedure specifically to your tractor for its calibration.

The TC29, 29D, 33, 33D manual I have also mentions the "Spill Timing" procedure under the Timing and Governor Adjustment section. It sure doesn't seem like its.....just bolt the new/remanufactured injection pump on and fire it up without a lot of checks/adjustments.

Oh most diffidently, I was only showing the picture on how to wrap the trap around the board to help minimize the wind damage from tearing the tarp.

In addition to using the wood either 1x4, 1x3 or 2x4's if you wrap the edges of the tarp around the wood then nail it down it will withstand the wind better.

Do you have a particular barnd that you find effective? I have tried them in the past without much sucess, but I'm alway willing to try again.

I can certainly understand that when they asking that much. I wonder how closely you have to mimic the resistance of the filter and if there is differential pressure sensor across it, is there a range where it needs to be happy?

I guess if it were me I'd put all the hoses back on, remove the fuel shut off solenoid, loosen (maybe 1/2 a turn) one at a time the nut on the fuel line as it connects to each injector and turn the engine over until there was a good squirt/flow of fuel, then tighten that nut down and proceed to...

I would beleive so but to be sure as was suggested just remove the fuel shut off solenoid, it is only 2 bolts. However, if your tractor starts with it removed you'll either have to reinstall the shut off or block off the air to the engine as your tractor will not shut off.

This sure does seem like a strange one. From the Messik's Website I downloaded a PDF of the fuel system. The B2650 comes with a cab and without and their fuel system seems the same. Attached is the PDF for a B2650 without a cab. You just might want to confirm everything is routed correctly...

Do you have volt/ohm meter? Do you have a manual, it will have the elecrical schmatics? Have checked to ensure the seat and parking brake switches are working as "dlctcg" indicated your tractor will crank but these safeties will prevent the fuel seloniod from being entergized?

It looks like your fuel solenoid only has one wire if it is the same as in the attached.

If you have 12 volt source and a volt/ohm meter you can test the relays, see attached.
