TSC once had the Tarter Pond Scoop. I can't find it on the site now. The ATV bucket could be mod'ed to work.


So this thread is about Tractors from Fredricks? That's where I got mine. I couldn't buy used again because of worn parts or a damaged machine. I couldn't buy new because it's sticker shock! Finding Fredricks was a win-win for those to items. And a 1-yr warranty included!

I agree and why 2 was purchased from Spalding. Fred. refurbished on one also. I wasn't thinking I would even purchase a tractor when I bought the Ym2000. All intact and looked to be Org.. showed it's age of 30yrs. but everything worked. Left Steve a check for it until I could get back. I don't care that it didn't look new. The highest priced thing I had to do to the 2000 since I bought it was rebuild the starter until last Yr.. I relined the rear tires 45$ a wheel. Should work or last for 30+ more Yrs.. My intentions was to keep the weight off so I stayed away from Foam. When we had to buy the YM2500 Fredricks supplied. It was hard not to go back that way that's for sure. I couldn't keep up with a used one for the owners. Retired priest, so we had to buy the second. He made them a deal!!

Well, he couldnt find me a 2610 without a loader. Talked to Fredericks and they said maybe with the next load. Only maybe and the next load is two months out.

My dealer apologized and made several conciliatory offers, including his yard dog, which is 3110. His last offer was again on the 2610 with the loader. I think it痴 one I cant refuse. Im trying, but even my wife said just get it with the loader.

Guess I知 probably going to get it with the loader. We値l see.

Your wife is right on about a loader. Hmmm.....a yard dog 3110? The 3110 is a nice machine...does it have a loader?

A week after, you'll come back here describing some project you did with it and say 'I had no idea how handy this is'.

You have a good wife! My wife told me 'If that will save your back, just do it'. Now many years past retirement, I'm sure using the loader in place of shovel/wheelbarrow etc has helped me stay healthy.

The first thing I used mine for was to back-drag and level a load of gravel delivered as a windrow on the driveway. Then, to uncover the septic tank lid so it could be pumped. Then I lashed a pole to the loader and lifted a heavy cabinet out of an awkward corner of the barn, a project that had been too much nuisance to attempt before, considering the dirt floor. Then I bought loader forks for the bucket ... the uses of a loader are endless.

No. The 3110 does not have a loader. Also two wheel drive, or it would have maybe been too tempting to pass.

Well, I got the YM2610 without the loader. Guess what, I needed one this weekend. LOL oh well.

Yes, get the loader. Life would be so much easier with it.

Biggest issue is that most of my projects need digging/leveling, not loading. Don稚 want to break my new tractor doing something it wasn稚 designed for.
