1533 vs Bobcat S175 loader comparison?

   / 1533 vs Bobcat S175 loader comparison? #11
I have both as well, a Takeuchi CTL currently, but I have owned many Bobcats over the years. A skid-steer type of rig is made to not only load, but to dig and to flow a lot of hydraulic fluid for front mounted implements. I run a grapple, 4-n-1, stump grinder, tiller, etc. with the Tak and it really gets it done. An ag type compact tractor has loader meant to load stuff and move loose material. It is not made to do much digging. I'd break about any tractor if I tried to do with it what I can easily do with the skid steer.

My suggestion is to keep the S175, and just buy a tractor with no loader for all of the 3-point needs. I keep a 50 HP 2wd tractor (no loader) hooked up to my flail mower at all times. No swapping stuff around and not having a loader is really nice when mowing around trees and such.
