Mahindra 60HST 60HP Diesel Compact 4WD Hydrostatic with factory cab, A/C, radio
OK, Progress!
Seat belt is on, Weight horn is on, wheelie bars on, headlights on.
Ready to show, run and pull as is. Decals and finishing touches will have to wait until after the CCAEA show in Stockton on August 15-17, 2014.
Next project is to finish this one. There are lots of finishing touches I want to complete.
Better paint & Decals
Clean paint off tires near rim.
Reinforce weight horn mount/bumper at front axle.
Make a longer lever on carburetor to slow down the throttle reaction. Moving the throttle lever one inch gets me from 800 up to 3000 rpm, way too touchy.
Then maybe a will restore an 8N to sell. I have a motor and body parts.
I can not remember but as a kid I figured it took the weight of a dearborn disk to pull the front wheels off the ground. There may have also been a railroad tie on the disk. Knew for sure you did not want Dad to catch you pulling wheelies.

Dad never caught me as far as I know but he did wonder why the front end parts wore out so quickly.
Also, did you know if you tied a piece of twine to the governor rod and pulled, it would go like crazy? Fun times.
