By the way, air is 75 cents at the gas stations around here...
75 cents gives you enough time to top off three tires!

It was 1.84/9 today so it is still comeing down. And that is good any way you look at it. I did not look at the diesel but I will tomorrow .

Some of us are old enough to remember when ALL "service stations" (not just filling stations) provided free air and water right next to the gas pumps. And we didn't even take the hoses in at night when the station was closed.

I don't know Bird, but my gas station has free air all around it, they don't want you to pass out before you pay for the inflated gas!

We pay 75 cents for compressed air here too and I have never made it to all four tires.
I just can't make it happen.

I paid $1.949 at the Sam's Club in Lewisville, TX, today. For those not familiar with Texas, Lewisville is just north of Dallas on I-35E.

Ken, in spite of some cheaper places, such as that Sam's Club, the local newspaper today says the National current average is $2.34, the Texas Statewide current average is $2.21, and the Dallas-Fort Worth
current average is $2.18.

Gas in my area, (Christiansburg, Va), ranges from $1.979 to $2.079. Most stations were at $1.979-$1.999 until Friday, and jumped 8 cents. Likely due to Virginia Tech having a home football game this weekend. Only one has kept prices down.

We jumped up to 2.149 at about 1/2 the stations in town. Hopefully it's a temporary blip in the price.

Reg $2.32 gallon,but diesel coming down very slowly..was $3.05 gallon now $2.95 gallon w/in a month....hmmm.

we hit our very low today, 2.899 for reg, diesel is still over 3.

State is doing an enquirey, non of the providers has answered the letters. HMM..

on of them did say in the paper that Idaho would have to build refineries for them if we wanted lower prices.

Bull to that! We are on the national pipeline like most states.
