Yes, you hardly even push the pedal the make an EB go unloaded. I've never needed more than part throttle towing 6000lb. I have done WOT unloaded and it's scary how much power these engines make silently.

I just bought a new 18 3.5 ecoboost F150, with the 10 speed tranny... jeepers creepers can that thing go, and quickly...

The Ford dealer did not want to find me what I wanted, so I stopped looking. While browsing a high volume Ram Dealer (#1 Ram truck dealer in the Province for 10 years and counting.) I found a sweetheart of a deal on a 2017 Ram SXT.

I test drove a 16 F150, was a nice truck, and this Dodge is every bit as nice.

You were looking for HD payload ratings on the Fords ( I think, or was that someone else?). Does this Ram offer the HD payload now, or did the better deal trump that? I know Ram bumped their ratings over the past couple of years, but I don't know if they got over the 1 1/2 tons (max) that Ford offers. The coil springs should give a nice ride. That makes a nice Christmas present, but hard to get under the tree.

I went shopping last year for a new Ford f150 super crew 4X4 lariat spoke with the ford dealer I wanted the 5.0 liter engine.They fought me tooth and nail trying to sell me a echo boost engine which I did not want.I ended up buying a 2016 Ram 2500 crew cab laramie with 6.4 hemi for about the same price.Could not be happier with my truck so far only 20,000 miles.

I know how it is dealing with dealers that don't want your business! The only thing that's kept me out of a RAM truck is the two dealers in my area aren't the best when it comes to service after the sale or pulling shady things on you. It's a shame too because I really like the 2019 RAM that's coming! What is the SXT package you mentioned your truck was? I'm familiar with Trsdesman, Big Horn (my favorite), SLT, and Laramie.
