Where can you buy off-road diesel in central Ma area?
Oil & Fuel #2 heating oil, Road diesel, or K1 kerosene

Check your yellow pages for oil distributors or heating oil.

Where in central Mass are you . In Southbridge, Vincent Oil sells it. We are in Charlton, Charlton Oil 508 248 9797 and we sell it but usually only in large quantities. If you can bring in a container that our nozzle will fit into, I can probably get you some. We sell it directly from bulk tanks. In Worcester, I would call Peterson or CK Smith. I don't know for sure if they will fill small containers.

I wanted to say don't get caught miss using untaxed fuel. I know of a logger that got caught and had to pay a stiff fine.

The IRS guys stop by here quite often and stick the tanks on our equipment. I was told the fine is $1000 plus $1.00 a gallon for each vehicle. Ouch! If they find one vehicle in noncompliance they check the entire fleet. They seem to chack all oil delivery trucks, just to eady to fill your fuel tank from the delivery tank I guess.

I have no idea, from what I can tell they just ride around in pairs and stop when ever they feel like it. They knock on your door, walk in with badges in their hands, and hand you a brochure explaining why you need to pay taxes and pentalies for noncompliance. Next they ask if you would like to accompany them as they check your tanks. I don't think quantity has much to do with it.
Even if you are clean, they write up a report and leave you a copy for your files. So far so good here, but I do know a bunch of guys who have gotten caught.

Off road diesel here in WV is the same thing all heating oil/ Diesel fuel was till they started the red dye lower sulpher fuel for on road stuff........
What burns my hindend and burns it good is Sure they come up to us and others preaching on how we need to pay taxes and Blaaaaaaaaaa Blaaaaaaaaaaa . But Check their fuel tanks out . Every state county city owned . vechicle dump truck or semi,, Their tanks are full of Off Road Diesel . Sulpher was removed to to polution what a Crock whene they can burn it up and down the highways day in day out . From school buses to the DPT Tax anbd Revenue's Big fancy Peterbilt tanker .......
