2009 F-150 what do you think?

FORD;the number 1 selling truck for 31 years.......all those people can't be wrong.

just my opinion,the 09 f150 will be better than the 08's and older,and the 08's were better than the other brands.but don't take my word go to your local ford dealer and ask for "THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUCKS" cd........

#1 yes, but I can't understand why GM doesn't add Chevy & GMC together.

They're made on the same assembly lines and are 99.5% identical. Together they outsell Ford.

check your numbers.i believe gmc and chevy are called GM and ford has out sold GM for 31 years.

They are seperate and then together in first list. Looks like GM in total truck sales is greater. Ford PU's did outsell Chevrolet and GMC seperate. In another article it was interesting to note that in worldwide sales(all vehicles). GM topped Toyota by 1 days equivilent worth of US truck sales(3000) to retain the top spot for 2007 worldwide.

Personally I haven't owned a GM product since 1979. Drove a friends Duramax 3500 last week. To bad he didn't have a loaded trailer on I would liked to have seen how it pulled.

your right,GM did sell more total vehicles in 07,but i thought we were talking about trucks.but all that really matters is we all buy AMERICAN. [ford,gm and dodge],

I think in total, GM and Ford basically trade years for the top spot in trucks, if you include GMC.

IIRC, Chevy alone comes close.

Anyone checked out the new Toyota Tundra? Looks pretty sweet with crew cab, reclinning rear seat, 10,000 + towing capacity.

It has been discussed a lot here. Looks like a good rig for a guy who needs a 1/2 ton and occasional towing. It should be able to do what the current offerings from the Big Three do in the 1/2 ton market, nothing more. Rumor is they have a 1 ton diesel on the way. Google Tundra Diesel and you will find all the info.

I had some time to kill yesterday and looked through a copy of Diesel World or some magazine similarly titled, it mentioned Isuzu is building a diesel engine for the Toyota Tundra and Sequoia.

One would have to wonder why Isuzu would build them a diesel if Toyota already owns a diesel engine company called Hino.
