Atgreene- I bet using the trackhoe to load is a lot quicker than tractor,that's nice.

Helped grandpa in-law move some hay today. He had 96 5x5 bales to haul and stack. Those 5x5 bales are a lot more heavy than the 4x5's that I helped father in-law put up. Papa's old tractor lost a wheel in the middle of the creek, wheel was probably loose and couldn't handle the weight. We improvised a way to move his tractor cause it was holding everything up. I used the loader on his tractor to raise the front off the ground then bro in-law stuck the same bale with the old Massey and raised bale and me some more. Then I just pushed us both out of the creek. It worked slick, redneck wrecker!!! To bad I didn't get a picture in progress.

I cut, rolled and got half of it baled.. it rained,, and it rained.. still getting rain in the morning,, tedder and it rains.. half is better than none.. tomorrow I will tedder it again then reroll it.. life is a beatch.. that is why we love it.. Lou

Sounds like a few not so good days in the field.Broke wheels,bearings,fire,wet hay,gotta love it...

Better than us. Was almost dry on Fri night with 80s and 10% chance on rain predicted for Sat. We got drizzle on and off on Sat and 60s. Sunday was high 70s and sunny.
Hoping that it dries enough today (predicted to be 75 w/30% chance of rain) to get it baled and see if its any good. Worst comes to worst, we have someone who is always looking for cheap hay for his beef cows and will buy it if our sheep/horse clients wont.
